Lady palms roots and vines broke our backs every weekend. Harvey's came to rescue, on time, worked nine stop and kept to agreed to price. From The PM, Dan, set a very good price and handled everything expertly especially with tough parameters of our downtown location. We were amazed at operator Alex's skill and great attitude - constantly asking if something needed adjusting. Alex even dug up plants worth saving and placed them where we can transplant! I am in the construction management field and was more than impressed. Extreme value for the money! Call them!

I figured it would be easy to get someone to haul it away. I tried Task Rabbit and the two people who were tasked to complete cancelled on me. Then I tried the College Hunks People. They wanted $300!! Heck no! My lightbulb went off and I jumped on Yelp to find someone and reached out to my year fine people. They contacted me in 5 min and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. It was late in the day so I thought they would go out the next day but they said they could take care of it the same evening. I could pay online and didn't have to be there. They took a picture when they arrived and sent it to me. Then they took a picture to show me they were done. It took them no time at all and lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I hired Demolimax to demolish and remove a shed and cabinets that were damaged by a hurricane. They…read moredid the demolition and removal just fine. But I also requested that they assemble a replacement shed from a kit I had purchased. Yes, it was a tricky process but they cut corners, did not follow instructions and left the job half finished when it was learned that a piece was missing from the kit. When the missing part arrived and the work started back up by other workers, it was discovered that much of the work the guys from Demolimax had done had to be undone and redone properly in order to continue, adding time and expense to the process. Demolimax representative did not respond to complaint; no excuses were offered for cutting corners and skipping important steps. If the project was not something for which they could follow instructions and do properly, they should have simply said so from the outset.

This was my third time hiring College Hunks Hauling Junk, and unfortunately it will be my last…read more During the move, one of the movers failed to remove a footer from a chair before moving it and punched a hole in the drywall. They also damaged a door. The movers acknowledged responsibility at the time and told me it should be a simple claim to resolve after the move. That was not my experience. Once I submitted the claim, I encountered delays, stalling, and ultimately a refusal to fairly address the damage. The company attempted to rely on a liability limitation applicable to items damaged during transit, even though my claim involved damage to my home caused while their movers were performing services. I explained that distinction and that the damage resulted from the mover's failure to properly follow procedures, but the company refused to reconsider its position. They also attempted to unilaterally "close" my claim based on an internal deadline. More concerning, when I asked for the legal name of the company operating under the College Hunks name--not merely the DBA--I was not provided that information. I also requested the (1) company's Florida moving license/registration information and (2) insurance information, I was not provided that either. This resulted in the loss of my security deposit and footing a substantial bill due to their mistakes, and they refused to make it right. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that customers look elsewhere.
