I perused the store a bit, nothing absently that while the staff was friendly to a person, the lack of selection on the shelves is one of the major things that would prevent me ever considering living in a place like Wendover, despite there being a lot of kind of cool stuff about this town. I'm probably spoiled, having so many very good stores in my vicinity, but this seemed a bit on the low side, even for the area. Anyway, the store was clean, though a bit oddly laid-out and almost certainly the best option in the area.

We love this little store! We come to Almo in the off season to get away and relax, and usually…read morewalk down to the Tracy store a couple of times a day just to stretch our legs and chat with whoever is working. The store is charming, featuring pictures and many antiques from the area's past. They carry a little bit of everything (except alcohol), and even sell some home-made food such as breakfast burritos and cookies. Everyone we've ever encountered there has been friendly, warm, and happy to chat for awhile. Hours are limited, though: They're open only from 8am - 5pm and closed on Sundays.
