All dishes can be enjoyed in the restaurant or taken to-go either to reheat at home or have the restaurant reheat the dish. Pizzas are made fresh from order from at huge selection of varieties. [Review #446] 2019 Yelp 100 Challenge (98/100)…read more Jour Pizza is one of my favorite local pizza joints near Arild. The restaurant offers a great lunch deal between 11:00 AM-2:00 PM of rotating daily specials (i.e. Pork Pancake with Lingonberry, Fish Gratin with Lemon Sauce, Chicken Fillet with Rice & Curry Sauce, Meatloaf with Boiled Potatoes & Cream Sauce, Grilled Pork Fillet with Red Wine Cloud & Potato Gratin, various pastas) with salad buffet, drink & coffee for 95 kr. We prefer the pizzas like the CARUSO (tomatsås, ost, skinka, bacon, cayennepeppar, lök; tomato sauce, cheese, ham, bacon, cayenne pepper, onion), POMPEI (tomatsås, ost, bacon, lök, ägg; tomato sauce, cheese, bacon, onion, eggs), or VEGETARIANA (tomatsås, ost, ananas, champinjoner, skivade tomater, kronärtskocka, oliver, lök, paprika; tomato sauce, cheese, pineapple, mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, artichoke, olives, onions, pepper). I also love their calzone; the CAPRIZONI (tomatsås, ost, skinka, färska champinjoner; tomato sauce, cheese, ham, fresh mushrooms) & my fav, the CIAO CIAO (tomatsås, ost, kebabkött, champinjoner, färsk vitlök, lök; tomato sauce, cheese, kebab meat, mushrooms, fresh garlic, onion). The thin crust is flaky & crisp, yet holds all the ingredients without falling apart for the most part. Jour Pizza is quite generous with the pizza & calzone toppings so you're left feeling satisfied. I especially like their version of coleslaw called PIZZASALLAD that I can add to the pizza, providing additional acidity & texture. Fast & friendly service, plentiful seating, though parking is somewhat limited (we usually park along the street near the entrance so I don't know if there's a private lot). Fast casual Jour Pizza offers something for everyone at competitive prices... it's my go-to whenever we're visiting family. Smaklig måltid! Recommended: Ciao Ciao, Caprizoni, Caruso, Vegetariana, Pizzasallad.

I'm not sure of whether they really are Italians or if they have just learned 4 words and repeats them all the time. Anyway, my Italian speaking parents weren't convinced. But the restaurant is nice. Newly rebuild and after a period of multiple ownership changes, it seems like they have found a suiting level for the customers and the location. I was there during the autumn break and the place was packed. 3 courses (of their choice) for 300 kr. 3 courses from the a la carte menu would sum up to around 4-500 kr I would say. The food was a little overcooked for my taste, but I guess that is a personal issue :) Plenty of food !
