The space and equipment dedicated to each discipline show just how much they care about every individual who walks through the door. You'll find unique machines here you won't see in most gyms, like the Nautilus seated pullover and the Pendulum squat. They've got every barbell imaginable, including the Kabuki Transformer bar. Two saunas, showers, vending machines, world-class coaches, a cardio area, and even an outdoor fitness space--it's all here. If there's one thing someone might not love, it's that this isn't your typical commercial gym--no chrome machines or top-40 playlists. It's a serious training space, and that intensity isn't for everyone. But if you're looking for real progress and a community that supports it, this place stands apart.

Bold is typically very clean, with microfiber towels and cleaner provided to their clients. There are showers onsite and saunas in the bathrooms which is a huge benefit to their members. There are plenty of cardio machines, however that can also be placed in the cons section depending on your relationship with cardio. So, you ask, what's the issue? Me. I'm the issue. Full disclosure, I'm a competitive bodybuilder so I take quite a bit of time in the gym, have certain exercises that need to be completed in a certain order, and I just can't quite do that at Bold. The biggest reason is lack of equipment. Listen, there are a lot of members, and that's great, however when you only have one smith machine, one set of 100lb dumbbells, one hip thrust machine...you see where I'm going with this. Also, people do NOT re-rack their weights and it drives me insane! There seems to be no common courtesy or rules when it comes to this issue. Earlier I mentioned their cardio machines - I feel like if they decreased the number of cardio machines they could maybe add another dumbbell rack and free up the current dumbbell rack placement. I come here because it's the closest gym to me, and on upper body days I can get an effective and quick workout when I go in the middle of the day. It's more of a 3.5 star to me, but again, I'm probably the problem.

Most of the time your showers are broke, there's no hot water, you gym equipment is rusty and for 2 month your Ceiling has been leaking all over the wellness center! Absolutely disgusted with MUSC!

The environment is , professional, and a great community of individuals who understands what it takes to into a working professional's life. Whereas I often fell off the wagon regarding my fitness in years past, Hustle One has helped me to remain consistent. I am in the best shape of my life. Everyone that works there works for YOU. The group classes are great because you have that attention of a trainer in a small group and you end up building kind of a community with it. They also offer nutrition coaching, personal training, lifting classes, and sometimes yoga. People see and get results here. I feel so comfortable as a member of this gym and the accountability is there. Plus, River, the puppy, is there sometimes which is an ultimate plus. While it's a gym that's open to the outside, classes are roughly 45 min. Definitely give this place a try for a super well rounded place. I couldn't ask for a better gym.

Staff were generally friendly (one review mentioned the physical condition of the staff not appearing to be in good condition. Well, I've had my arse handed to me by trainers who did not have that "jacked/hardcore athletic appearance, sooo... just saying). Patrons/members are a variety of ages/abilities etc. The place has an average vibe and ok energy, nothing spectacular as far as feeling super-welcomed or super-intimidated. (Ex fitness professional/competitor. I've had memberships galore in 3 different countries.) Love the amount of equipment, different spaces for different modalities and lots of classes offered, if that is what you're into. The spaces are generally tidy/clean, could use a good deep clean. This used to be a Pivotal Fitness, so some of the pics shown from other reviews are outdated/irrelevant. Temperature-wise, t was a bit on the warm side in the main areas. Lady's change rooms were a bit on the ewe gross side and needing a good overhaul. This is a great gym for some folks, and not for others. I think there is a good basic offering. Parking can be a challenge, and the exterior is ugly/unwelcoming.
