We attempted to purchase a golf cart from this company's website (phone number matches). It appears to be a scam. After telling us their "credit card system was down" and said the only way to purchase was to use Venmo or a wire transfer. When we declined they suddenly had another Credit Card processing company "Eagle Pay". This is the front page of their website :EAGLEPAY The Future of African Payments. Then suddenly the "sales rep" texted - from another company in Waco, TX. That site had good reviews for 4-6 years ago, but they stopped. And then there were 2 reviews from people who had been scammed and lost money. All the transactions were the same as ours. One woman (who has reported them to the FBI) did research and found that the owner had closed the company a few years ago, so apparenlty the website (with its good reviews, etc) has been hijacked. They "repaired" my golf cart and 4 months later it is having the same issue. They don't return phone calls. Horrible customer service.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Doug does not respond to phone calls. He has (had) one employee and they only work a few hours a day a few days a week, even though the posted hours are way more. After 4 months of Monster having my cart I was finally able to get it (towed at my own expense) and took it to another shop. I paid Doug almost 4K and no work was done. Doug picked up my cart on January 7, 2026 after diagnosing that it did not have a simple solution to fix it. He supposedly worked with the manufacturer to replace the problem part. Since April 1st I have left a message every day for him to give me a status update on my cart. I have not received any contact (phone or email). I went to the new address that was listed (305 Canton Rd) and found that he is no longer there and possibly no longer in business. HE STILL HAS MY CART! So let me start by saying I bought two golf carts from Doug @ MONSTER CARTS the end of FEB 2026- I bought a 2024 golf cart that he had replaced the battery and "upgraded" it and charged me extra for the battery. I have had the cart 1 month (driven it twice) and now the battery has went out. Come to find out he had installed a Free BETA tester battery from the supplier that was several years old- that never wasn't meant for resale, and HE never paid the supplier for the battery. If you are looking for delayed service, having to follow up multiple times, outcomes not as promised, and overall disappointment, you have come to the right place. I am not too concerned about spending money on something I like, as in this case, I just wanted to have my cart serviced - Club Car Precedent - and ended up spending $1700+ on all sorts of items, which I should have spent elsewhere. Here are my pain points: 1. We were going to be out of town for 1 - 2 weeks, and I have them all the time in the world since we ended up spending 4 weeks in FL. When I returned, I had to wait another week for them to finish their work 2. A full 3.5 weeks into the cart being with them, I am informed that the new roof I am having put on cannot house the $300+ sound system I just installed myself 3. The new Custom made Seats, which was promised to look much better than the custom seats I had on, looks like my 7 yo son stitched them together, and they are not half as bulky as the old seats, which is the look I really liked 4. After receiving the cart, the suspension is worst than when I gave it to them, and it looks like the suspension was spray painted, I am guessing the cart was standing outside because my key chain was completely rusted when they eventually returned it 5. The cart was returned to me with a flat battery, we had a parade I could not participate in, and I had to charge the cart at my clubhouse just to get it back to my home - Picture attached 6. To flip down the back seats to be a flat surface, I now have to bend the arm rail to get it down or it will seriously scratch the new custom seats. Oh and lastly, upon drop off, the delivery guy did not even wait, he just dumped the cart and left, they forgot to give me my stereo and speakers which I had to call back for 3 times, that was the last straw. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place of business to anyone, if you are serious about quality of service and delivery, this place is not for you. We will be looking for, and recommending another place to have work done going forward. read more

Our cart had not been professionally serviced in the six years we've had it, and when it wouldn't move, we knew it was something out of our control. The cart's batteries were shot, as was the charger. Chris picked up our cart on Monday and had it back to us on Friday the same week. Although I haven't purchased a cart from them yet, I have to give a 5 star rating for two reasons... 1. I've seen their carts and they are amazing! I plan to purchase one soon. 2. I have an older 36volt cart that I purchased from Facebook Marketplace that had several problems and called the owners of Monster Carts and they went back and fourth with me on the phone in an effort to help me out - both Doug and Dillon have been extremely helpful to me and I'm not even a paying customer yet. We just used them for a repair on our '08 EZGO RXV. Picked up our cart on a Tuesday and delivered it back to us in 10 days. $75 for the pick-up and drop-off. The cart required a new rear hub assembly. $64 for the part and 2 hours of labor at $92/hr. We paid with a credit card and they charged a "non cash discount" of $12, a little surprise. Doug, the owner, is a nice guy. Would use them again but pay cash. They make some amazing custom golf carts! read more

They don't push any products on you at all and they actually listen to what you want, then build a game plan from there. We recently had our cart picked up by them and taken in to get extended. If you need to repair, upgrade, or purchase a golf cart, Monster Carts is the place to go. Both Doug and Dillon (the owners) are extremely fair and do whatever they can to provide the most value to their customers. I have an EZGO RXV that needed significant repairs, after my daughter and her friends had been pretty rough on it. I got an estimate from another local dealer that was close to $5,000. Doug and Dillon did a truly incredible job; the cart looks and drives like brand new. Their price was less than half what the other dealer charged. They look for ways to provide you what you need without exceeding your budget. For example, I needed a new roof and they had a few spares, so they installed one for me without charge. The other dealer wanted to charge me several hundred dollars for a new bearing. Instead, Doug repaired my existing bearing in less than 10 minutes and didn't charge me.
