Middletown Christian School: A Loving, Organized, and Faith-Filled Community…read moreWe attended Middletown Christian School ELC and were extremely pleased with the care our child received. The teachers and staff provide exceptional early education while modeling and teaching Christian principles in everything they do. Each day is filled with kindness, patience, and genuine love. This was our first year at Middletown Christian School, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience we've had from day one. The enrollment process was clear, simple, and supported by approachable, knowledgeable staff who truly want every family to feel confident and welcomed. I often struggle with new or multi-step processes, but this school doesn't let you fail or struggle. From enrollment to the first day, the team is there every step of the way, guiding with patience and care. Another standout part of the experience is the carline process. I was nervous about getting it wrong, but it's so well-organized that even the most anxious parent can relax! The administration, teachers, and staff all participate to ensure safety, order, and encouragement every single day. The Superintendent and Principals are regularly present, visible, and engaged. Their accessibility for discussions, feedback, and even small concerns shows how genuinely invested they are in the students and families. Anytime I've called the office, no matter how small my question, I've been met with kindness and encouragement to reach out anytime. That support has made us feel part of a true community. During the first month of school, the staff worked together seamlessly to make sure no child felt lost, confused, or overwhelmed -- bringing incredible peace of mind to parents. Our teacher is absolutely wonderful. She helps the children learn and grow while keeping parents consistently informed and connected. Her communication gives me complete confidence that my child is cared for, both academically and emotionally. She also models Christian values daily -- teaching with patience, kindness, and grace. She lives her faith in the classroom, providing a Godly example for the children to follow. Safety is another area where MCS excels. In a time when school safety must be intentionally planned and supported, Middletown Christian takes this responsibility to heart. An active-duty police officer is present on campus daily, walking the property, connecting with staff, and providing a visible, reassuring presence. This commitment creates a sense of security and community grounded in care and vigilance. At the heart of MCS is something truly special: a learning experience, curriculum, and culture grounded in God's love and creation. The staff don't just teach Christian principles -- they live them. This Christ-centered environment reflects strong, faith-driven leadership that sets the tone for the entire school. The Superintendent, Principals, and administrative team lead by example, ensuring that every classroom and program reflects compassion, integrity, and faith. Middletown Christian School isn't just a place where children learn -- it's a place where they are loved, guided, and inspired to grow in faith and character. We are beyond grateful to be part of this school family and look forward to many more years here.

They…read moremake you fill out an intense stack of paperwork asking for their exact schedule of naps/feeding because they say they will adhere to your schedule. The reality is, they do whatever they want. My boys some days had 1 nap, some days 2 naps, and never at the same time or on their regular schedule. They have a "parents do not cross" line in the classroom, which is a joke- if my kid is screaming their head off- which they were- and you ignore them, I am going to cross your line and get them. On their final day, I could literally hear my son screaming from out in the parking lot when I came for pick up. When I got in the classroom, Miss Rebecca, told me he "just started crying." This child was bright red and blotchy, runny nose, and gasping for breath from crying so hard. He did NOT just start crying. Miss Rebecca said he (my 9 month old son) REFUSED his 11:00am bottle. It was 4:00pm at pick up. A 9 month old going 5 hours without a bottle is insane. Also, dropped the kids off one morning at 7:00am and there was another kid there strapped into a bouncy seat. Around 9:30am we were sent a picture of our kids playing, and that same kid was in the background still strapped into the same seat hours later. When I told them we were not a good fit for their center, threw all the boys belongings into a trash bag and left it at the front desk for me to pick up. When I asked to speak to the director about my experience, I was told she was not available.
