    Purchased two life insurance policies from Mr. Barton in 1999. First error- convincing me to have…read moremy husband as owner of the policies but me paying for them. This is a MAJOR red tape problem when something happens to the listed owner. Second error- transferring me to his ex-wife when they divorced and split the business who did not follow through on helping transfer policies to my name 2 yrs ago when I requested. Sent paperwork but no update occurred and she never reached out so assumed the issue was taken care of as that's their job. No communication when the business transferred hands again. Almost 0 communication from the owners or Farmers in the 25 +years I've had policies with them. Ms. Barton/Applewhite sold the business and again no communications. The term policy missed the deadline to convert- again no communication.These people just want your premiums and do NO work for the policy holder. I cannot express enough how one should stear clear of Farmers and these agents.

    WWHHOOOAAAHH THERE!!!!!!…read more WTF happened to these guys...?!?!?! Until recently, I had a REALLY good working relationship w/ this particular FI branch!!! But THEN, outta the blue, this one agent I had professional dealings with--Stephanie T.--wasn't with the company anymore Folks at this branch got pretty uptight, rude AND downright hostile when I asked what happened to her.... On top of that, not long after Stephanie left (???), my auto insurance went up by about 40%!!!!!! YEP, it went from $429 every 6 mos. (full coverage), all the way up to $691. Thing IS, I have a VERY good driving record (only like, two traffic citations, but those were WWWAAAYYYYYY back in 1997 and 2000, back in CA to boot!!!). Anyway, I was told by one of their agents that I was, basically, being "punished for being more careful than others". In other words, when other motorists proved to be more incompetent, indecisive AND irresponsible, hence unfit to even HAVE a driver's license, guess what??? That's right: THEY get compensated for getting into an accident, and good drivers like MYSELF and so many others end up paying for these other J@CK#SS€S' mistakes ... Imagine going someplace someplace special, that you've saved and made MANY sacrifices for (e.g., Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain, etc., Etc., ETC.!!!). Anyway, you're at the Box Office to get yer tickets for admission, but...guess WHAT?!?!?! They tell you, that before you can go into the Park, you have to pay for a previous guest who "bought but couldn't pay for their visit" or for some other transgressions which cost the Park money ...!!! Thing IS, you CANT leave because, first, "it's company policy that the next customer/guest has to cover those losses, or do without; second, on moral principle, you've come all this way, so you have no choice but TO swallow your pride, "take your punishment for something you didn't do", THEN go have yer fun!!! And THATS what it's like w/ auto insurance: you CANNOT live w/o something you've come to depend on, and these "powers-that-be" know it too. Like the blood-sucking lawyer-turned T-Rex food in Jurassic Park said [@ HIS last meal of Chilean Sea Bass]: "We can charge whatever we went, [undisclosed amount of $$$], and people WILL pay it!!!" And guess what?!?!?! He was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT
