One of my children elected the guitar. Ok, teacher booked for an hour a week, what next... obviously a guitar.
Hill's music came warmly recommended by a few musicians here and there, but as I am deeply incompetent when it comes to guitars, it's that buying process that scared my from second number one.
So we made it there at 12:35...closed until 13:30 nice start (daily closed from 12:30-13:30 a man has got to eat ;-) ). When the place opened again at 13:30 we rushed in as there was a queue already (but we were first), the store owner, apparently a renowned figure in the neighborhood, was efficient, this is what you need, this is the price, it's not made in China because I believe in Europe... cash or credit, thank you see you soon! And that was it took us 5 min to walk out with a EUR 200 classic guitar, so my conclusion is that although I was a little frightened by the purchasing experience, this one when by so fast that did not have time to even feel the fear.
We are now a few weeks later and I ask the guitar teacher, whet he thinks of the instrument: "it's absolutly perfect, best value for money you can get".
YES! that felt great to hear!
Final conclusion, the store owner is an honest man, and I love honest people ;-)
