None of them compared to Vedi Optik in service, price, and location for me. Let's start with their office. Located on the corner of Njalsgade & Isafjordsgade lies their flawlessly decorated office. From the lighting to the ever changing and unique window displays, these guys have great taste and know how to showcase their products. They have a wide range of very nice frames and sunglasses to choose from. I have only gone to them for contact lenses but I definitely plan to return for my next pair of eyeglasses. Now, on to service. I've had eye examinations with both gentlemen at Vedi Optik and they do SUCH a good job of explaining their thought process on your plan of eye care. They're honest and really work to make sure you are getting the best possible care and outcome with their services. I always feel bad because my Danish is still a work in process, but they explain everything very well, even complicated medical concepts, in English with me, so I am very grateful to them. When I inquired about a particular model and color which was out of stock they offered to call their sister store in Fredericksburg Shopping Center; they had my size and color in stock and helpfully set it aside so I was easily able to make the 2-metro-stop trip to pick it up.

They had these lovely earrings in the window that I just had to have. The guy in the shop was really nice, and when he couldn't answer my questions, he tried to call the girl that had designed the earrings. When she didn't answer, I got her phone number, so that I could send her a message. That's good service! I believe that the products they have here are really nice, and considering that they make it all themselves in quite small amounts, I think that the price range is good as well. The reason Designkollektivet dosen't get five starts is because there are many shops like this one in Copenhagen. Designkollektivet is good - but it dosen't stand out from all other shops. So to get the last star, I think they need to be a bit more innovative.

I had a short stopover in Copenhagen before a long planned week's trip to the Faroe Islands for landscape photography. The day before my flight to the islands I discovered my new tripod was inoperable. I was sickened as I had no time to wait for parts. My trip was saved by the team at Foto/C. They could have easily said they couldn't help me as it wasn't much of a sale for them. But instead they took the time to come up with a solution for me that required a lot of work on their end. Also looking for Christmas album CD anno 1995 featuring WHAM and the likes? You'd also probably find it here. The big hit for me is on the second floor. Up the stairs and to the left they have very comfy designed library-lookalike with rows and rows books for sale with price tags showing fractions of what the original prices were. Books sold here are extremely in good condition, unlike in several "Antikvariet" I have been to, but there are obviously newer books too. To put it shortly, if you're about to give someone a book as a present from here, they wouldn't know if it's second hand and it's good for the whole saving environment stuff isn't it? Less trees to fell for your books. Next to the book room, there's the children articles occupying the space. Clothing, toys, you name it. On the right side of the upper room there is the second hand clothing area. They all look in very good condition, I guess The Red Cross is very good at vetting these clothing. I did a browse to see if there's anything I like. Alas, I'm quite picky when it comes to clothing. But hey, it's worth checking out, and when you need to give (Christmas) presents, this place is maybe worth to look at.

When I buy it online, it was shown a 1500kr discount for the final price. I called and I asked about this discount and also I asked how the cashback campaign works. They said the final amount is the one shown in the online shop and after your purchase, you will register your product on the producer page and they will send you back the money and it can take 2-3 weeks. So I thought these two are different discounts. I waited for the product for 4-5 days. When I went to the shop to pick it up the item, they said there was a problem with their online shop and it showed the discount wrongly. I said I called you 2-3 times and once I asked you about especially this issue and no one told something about it. The real problem started when one of the employees called his "boss" to talk to me. I explained to him the issue again, and I said why you didn't tell me this issue on the phone because I had a chance to go for another product. He started to talk vulgarly and he blamed me that I'm trying to trick them. He even didn't say sorry and continued to speak aggressively. Several times I said I didn't know your system is broken and he said "you definitely knew and you are trying to trick me". This guy is the worst employee that I've ever seen in this country, he doesn't know how to communicate with the customer and blames people. There was nothing to take it personally. I stopped discussing with him and I bought the lens. They offered a basic filter as compensation for the issue but I refused it because the problem was no longer about their broken online system, there is no compensation for attacking people personally.

Terrible customer service and deceptive practices--…read more I ordered a pair of shoes and paid a high shipping fee. About a week later, DHL contacted me saying I owed a large amount in import duties before they would deliver the package. When I reached out to the company, they basically said it wasn't their problem and pointed to their terms and conditions -- where, buried in fine print, they claim they're not responsible for such fees. Most reputable companies either include import duties in the price or clearly disclose them before checkout. Instead, this company hides that information deep in the fine print, knowing that most customers would think twice before buying if the true cost were clear upfront. It is incredibly misleading. Thankfully, my credit card company immediately recognized the issue and refunded me in full.
