I also benefited from the therapy sessions that helped me to heal through the depression I was going through after the storm. That I wasn't expecting at all and it's moments like that that make this very personal and give me an extra push to continue focusing on health. I read a recent review where the writer said the same information could have been obtained in a single book. That is not my experience. Yes, much of the information is out there but to sort through a world of information, apply it in a methodical and evidence based way, and at a pace that promotes true change, have a customized supplement plan based on ME.....if it was that simple I would have applied it all years ago and wouldn't be seeking help. And it's more than just knowledge, it's personal guides that each listen intently and provide support, more knowledge and suggestions, and yes, they keep me accountable. Change that includes nutrition, physical and emotional well-being, profoundly managing the impact of stress and so much more takes time and honestly is challenging And it's all intertwined. It doesn't happen overnight. My personal hurdles, besides, wanting to be the healthiest I can be, include chronic insomnia, a battle with sugar that goes way beyond a sweet tooth, and physical and emotional changes from 6 years of of caregiving for 3 elderly family members with a variety of illnesses and dementia. Since I started working with the Waterleaf team almost 4 months ago I can see steady progress. But the best and most succinct description of the changes came from my husband who said "you are happier and more present."

They had packages available and the receptionist told me if I purchased one it can be split between myself and my daughter! So I went ahead and purchased a package for my daughter! And paid for my initial order! My daughter appointment was tomorrow and she will not be able to make it! I called and spoke with dr grace to see if I my mother in law can come in her place! She said no but I can! I told her that I would rather have my mother in law receive treatment and she said the packages cannot be transferred only used by the person who purchased it! I said ok then I can come she put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back to the call and said no you can't it can only be used by the one who purchased it! Well doctor you said I could but now you are saying I cannot! The. I am the one who paid for it and if that's policy it should be in writing!! Then I asked if they have gift cards she said yes! So I can purchase a gift card and give to whoever and they can receive treatment! But I can't purchase a package and possibly become a reoccurring customer and transfer to whoever! She is the owner and the doctor and claimed she can not do so! My theory is she chose not to! Just to create another situation for me to pay more money for service that I may or may not have time to used! She was pretty rude and disrespectful over the phone instead of arguing I told her cancel the appointment and keep the rest of the money. I will never do business with them again.!

I had insomnia for over two years. In those two years, I mostly believed the lack of sleep was…read moreanxiety related, but then other symptoms started to appear too -night sweats, a burning in my neck, etc. I thought once I worked on the anxiety, the symptoms would disappear and my sleep would improve, but despite so much attention to my mental health, nothing seemed to change. I woke up between 4 and 4:30 for months and became very familiar with just laying in the dark waiting for the day to start. If you have insomnia, you feel like a zombie. Everything good in life has a bit of a gray cloud over it when you can't sleep. Jobs, relationships, friendships, everything feels like too much energy when you can't sleep and yet somehow you have to show up for them (or at the minimum your job). I did a full work up, all the way to a CT scan of almost my whole body with my doctor at Kaiser, mostly for the sweating. They couldn't find anything wrong with me. Homeopathic doctors, Chinese herbs, hypnosis, it felt like nothing worked. A friend who had insomnia told me about Dr. Stella, and one frustrated day I reached out to her and booked my first appointment. I now wake up at my alarm :) on weekend, I sleep in. It is still not perfect, but a huge, HUGE improvement from waking up at 4:30 for months and months. What I like about Dr. Stella is that it feels like a partnership. She prescribed homeopathic medicine which helped a lot, but a lot of it was on my lifestyle-I had to improve my diet, sleep habits, take supplements, etc. Overall, it has been a really healing experience. It helps that Dr. Stella feels compassionate and also is good at explaining things-as a science-lover, this was great for me and I looked for ways to further support my healing once I understood the mechanics of what was going on. I am a fan now and would very much recommend her to my family and friends (and already have).

It was my first time getting the procedure so I asked a ton of questions which she patiently answered. She explained what she was doing through every step of the process and made sure I wasn't in pain or uncomfortable the entire time. The entire procedure took a little under an hour and the coolest part was at the end when she showed me all the junk that had been extracted from my face! I had a couple of other skin concerns which I asked Alice about afterwards. She gave me an assessment, recommended that I see another specialist and then hooked me up with a ton of skincare samples that might help. She ordered a plethora of tests, one of which my dietitian wanted to give me, but I went with her her, which found a specific bacteria. The bacteria would have resolved on its own, but she opted to use prescription medication which made me much worse. Antibiotics. She wanted me to go on Cipro!!!!! Additionally, I was in severe adrenal fatigue. She knew I was on a corticosteroid and chose to give me two other tests that would be completely invalid because of that fact. On her $500 allergy test it revealed I was sensitive to brown rice. After my saliva and cortisol test it revealed my cortisol was too high. That was due to the corticosteroid I was on, which she completely ignored. She had me purchase $300 worth of supplements from Sanesco, which she is on the board of -- by the way, and there's rice flour as a filler in all the supplements. Furthermore, I showed her my thyroid panel when I sat down with her and she still gave me supplements that contained iodine. If she knew anything about Hashimoto's she would not have done that. I advised her that I should not be taking anything that contains added iodine and she still said i need to take them. This woman is extremely pricy. She nickel and dimes you for E V E R Y single minute. Charged me $225 for 20 minutes for a phone call. When I exceeded 30 minutes because she was chatty, she upcharged me $300. She does not read your results thoroughly. I am happy for the patients who healed from her, but I did not. I trashed all her expensive supplements because they were doing nothing but spiking my B12, so high that my doctor said stop all B12 supplements ASAP. I could go on and on about how there's no follow up AT ALL. The office is not very organized. But I'll stop here. Do your due diligence. She's extremely money hungry and concerned with her bottom line. There are so many tests out there that you can purchase on your own like from ZRT Labs, where you don't need someone to sit there and tell you what a piece of paper says. Very sad.
