I've been eyeing this place for a while and have finally gotten a chance to go. It's about 22 dollars for all you can eat and I think the price is great! There are a lot of options and overall the food is pretty good. I'd definitely be back! They give you some rice for the table and some bread as well. They also have jello, brownies and ice cream for dessert. The service is also fast and efficient and overall again great at what they are doing. The place wasn't too packed for a Saturday night, but I will say it was running low on few things like the beef. But they filled it up on the second round we went back up. And it was a little messy. Other than that a great experience and am happy I finally got to go!

Walked in at 2:25 pm , greeted a man saying they will be closing in 10 mins and they cant take us. But at the door says lunch closes at 3 pm Loss a business for 4 people!

Mongol Plate with a side of rice

The food was alright. I've had better Mongolian food for waaaay cheaper. I paid $33 for a plate, side of rice and a drink. The Yelp takeout menu mentioned it included 2 sesame biscuits, but they may have forgotten to include them. The menu also didn't mention that it came with rice otherwise I wouldn't have ordered the side of rice. Overall, I suggest going to a different Mongolian restaurant, like the one at Galleria Mall or Del Amo Mall. The food at the other locations are more flavorful and give you more food for less money!

Mongo feast

We have been searching for a new Mongolian bbq since the one we used to go to is now something else. We live out of state and while visiting just happened to find it. The food was fantastic. The only negative is their website says the all you can eat mongo feast is 12.99; on this site it says $21.99; and we were charged 24.99.

This place is located just below the palo verde peninsula. The service is hit or miss. The place needs some cleaning and renovation. Options are limited and surfaces were not clean. I don't recommend it. Parking is easy. Food tasted decent but not as good as other places I've been to for Mongolian bbq.

Neat spot. You can pack on food into a bowl and they'll cook it in front of you. Came with some super tasty bread on the side as well!

Going there at lunchtime can be a long wait. I've seen lines of over 30 people waiting to pay and select their orders. So I go there either when they open or after 1 pm. I've never encountered a significant wait at those hours. I've been dining there over a decade and always found the food to be fresh. The staff are friendly, not exuberant with thanks. But considering is mainly self-service I'm not bothered by not being welcomed or thanked for my business. It is what is. I do recommend this location for wok dining. The price is fair and your money goes a long way.

Unable to reach you directly Sharon…read more Thank you for your response and for apologizing for the confusion. My concern is not only whether the fee is adjusted later, but that I am being presented with and asked to approve a surcharge at the time of checkout when I am using a debit card. This has now happened more than once, and staff have refused to remove the fee before completing the transaction. As a customer, I am not comfortable authorizing a transaction that includes what appears to be an inaccurate surcharge and then relying on a later adjustment on the back end. That process is not transparent and does not make me feel confident as a patron. The California Attorney General's guidance states that merchants may not mislead customers or hide differences between credit, debit, and cash pricing, and debit card surcharges are generally not permitted even when run as credit. I hope this can be corrected at the point of sale so that debit card customers are not presented with this fee moving forward.

This isn't my first time reviewing Ayan (Yelp hit me with the "Do you recommend this place?"…read moreprompt)... and yeah, I still absolutely do. The ramen is rich, comforting, and borderline addictive--but it's the combo of fall-off-the-bone ribs and a cold pitcher of Blue Moon that really sets the tone. Add good company and a vibe that feels both elevated and effortless, and suddenly you're staying way longer than planned. The staff is always on point--attentive, friendly, never rushed. It's the kind of spot that feels like a hidden gem even if it's in your regular rotation. I am a little bummed they're no longer open for weekday lunch (my solo ramen therapy sessions will have to be weekend-only now), but the food and the energy are still top-tier. Ayan continues to be one of my favorite places to eat, drink, and feel like a local.

My fiancé's Genghis Khan Ramen tasted like canned chicken soup. As I finished pouring the pitcher of water into my glass cup, I noticed some black sediment pour out, disgusting! We told the waitress about it and all she came up with was that it might be the dust looming over our table that fell down. The servers don't actually come by and check on you. You have to ring a bell for them to come by and see how things are going. We ordered 6 different meals and each meal arrived at random times. So as I was already halfway through my meal, my partner then had received hers and that same momentum is was carried on until the last person's order was delivered to our table. I didn't understand what the concept was. it feels like it's an Asian restaurant, but then there were these multiple big screen t.v.'s playing highlights of baseball. Is this supposed to be a sports bar?? The food was 3/10 The water was -1/10 The service was 3/10 The ambiance was 2/10 Not coming back here again.

They keep adding fresh food. Other places you can tell the food has been sitting under the hot labor for a while, but at kings wok express I never had that problem only once, but it was late. Also if they run out they'll make you a new one. Most of their dishes are good. It can get pricey though if you add a lot since it's by the pound. And sometimes if you don't speak up they pack that $hit! Their drinks are pretty good too and I like how they don't use powder for their thai tea. Ambiance is pretty chill and quiet just people talking. Oh they also have a Mongolian noodle thing where you choose your noodle, meat, and veggies and they cook it for you. Skip the Shacho Ramen and go for the pork rice bowl! The Breakdown Service & Speed: 5/5. I ordered within 5 minutes and the food arrived in 10. The manager lady is amazing, charismatic, and highly memorable. They're full service, they packed my leftovers. The Highlight (Pork Rice Bowl): Generous portion of rice and incredibly tender pork. Mixing in the egg and mayo made the dish, became the highlight of my meal. The Perks: Their menu is simple and straightforward, and adding extra toppings to your ramen is actually relatively inexpensive. The Disappointment (Shacho Ramen): This was my first meal here without fried chicken, and the Shacho Ramen unfortunately fell flat. It completely lacked the complexity and depth I was looking for. The Broth: Had the rich, heavy sesame creaminess I demanded, but it was incredibly one-note outside of that. The Spice: Level 2 had no heat at all. I asked for a side of extra spice, which helped a bit, but didn't save the dish. The Noodles: Very bland.Ended up packing most of it away Verdict: Come for the great service, cheap add-ons, and excellent rice bowls, but pass on the Shacho Ramen.
