The tellers know me by name, they know my family, they ask about things in my life, this bank is like my cheers! This branch has remained very much the same over the years, tellers have changed, but many have been there for over 15 years! The hours are great, only closed on the normal stat holidays. This bank has been very helpful over the years, so many memories, who can say that about a bank? I used to work in Capilano Mall for 8 years, so this branch was helpful with all my retail needs as well. They do a lot of charity/fundraisers for the community, and I am proud to be a Servus member!

The staff members are usually decently quick, although they aren't exactly the best informed on certain things. About 1 in 5 times where I've wanted to do simple things - like proving that I'm a student or withdrawing money - and it's taken forever and a manager needed to come over to assist. The most memorable occasion was when I was trying to update my signature and I had presented the lady with about 3 different pieces of ID, but she still refused to believe it was me because "my signature was different on the account". Well the signature that I had on the account was done when I was 8 years old and I'm pretty sure all it consisted of was a smiley face... We got it sorted out after a manager came, but it still ate up a good 20 minutes of my life trying to prove I was me.

A lot of currency exchange places or banks might only have US, Euro, and Pounds on hand, but Calforex has a variety of different currencies. I got some Hong Kong dollars for my trip to Hong Kong (obviously). They do charge a $3.95 fee for your transaction so it's better to get a larger some of money (basically don't take out $20 worth of currency for a $3.95 fee, take out $100 or something more worthwhile). If you are an AMA member you can show your card to save on the fees. It's convenient and easy to exchange currency (I've only ever bought currency, not sold it). If you're going on a trip and need some foreign money to get you started then Calforex is the place to go to.

Do pull up very close to the machine, especially if you drive a lower to the ground car. I usually have to unbuckle my seatbelt at this location to be able to reach all the buttons.
