Despite pre-booking and confirming a pick-up (24 hours before as directed) the driver did not arrive to transfer my wife and I from our Prague hotel to Prague Airport. We called Mondial's customer service repeatedly with no one picking up the phone. After the hotel desk informed us that these drivers are often late and waiting in the hotel lobby as long as possible we called for a taxi and arrived at the airport just in time.
When I asked for a refund of the pre-booked fee I was told the driver arrived and, not finding us, asked if we had checked out of our room, and left charging a no-show. As my wife and I waited not ten feet from the hotel front desk I can say no driver approached the front desk. If he/she had they would have seen two tourists waiting with their luggage.
I sent Mondial a copy of my phone records showing my confirmation call the previous day and pointed out our presence at the front desk but received nothing, not even an acknowledgment of our inconvenience. I was hoping for, at the very least, an "I'm sorry for your inconvenience" if not a refund after leaving clients stranded in a foreign city moments before their flight home departed.
