He was super…read moretransparent and honest on the lead times, process of work and to minimize impact on our business, he performed the installation after our morning rush hour, installed a zip wall for dust control, and had the installation complete in 4 hours. Demoed, prepped, installed new frame, and door, closer, hardware. Given an elevation change from slab to tile at entry, he customized a heavy duty threshold. Best part, he replaced storefront without cutting into the drywall, or tile. Everything water tight and professional. Amazing workmanship. He is handling business and installing...and before install, had to follow up with him for pricing or clarification on lead time but he always responded within 1-2 days. Once we pulled the trigger, took exactly 2 weeks for material to come in (Friday) and on the following Tuesday, he had it installed to perfection. We will be relying on him in the future!

Other companies would not meet with us without a specific appointment and/or would only speak with certain contractors. With Artisan we just walked in and were given great service from the get go. Don't expect any timely response from this company. I had them do some repair on a shower…read moreenclosure they installed several years ago and it took over a month just to get the invoice out to me and another month to get a quote on some additional repair. I responded to the quote the same day it was received and asked to be put on the schedule. Another 1-1/2 months went by with no response so I sent another email asking for a call and said this is getting to the point of ridiculous. An hour later I received a call telling me to go to another shop as they do not like angry emails. They apparently read their emails but do not respond to them. They do not know what customer service means and I am a previous client as well. A simple phone call to let me know the schedule would have prevented all of this. Hard to believe. Update. The manager called back and apologized for his attitude as he had to put his mom on Hospice today. He promised his partner would call me next week after Thanksgiving to get us taken care of. This is how it should be handled.

I would recommend Contractors Glass without hesitation.

We had Estero Glass replace a Milgard window installed by Atascadero Glass that leaked like a sieve…read moreover the last 4 winters. Atascadero Glass had come out numerous times to "fix" the problem and I had caulked everything within 15 feet of the window to no avail. Estero Glass completely replaced the window with a custom window that was built in, and NOT a slide-in which the Milgard was. They did good work and completed the job in one day. In the recent torrential rains, the new window did not leak a drop. This was a great relief as we had spent the last 4 winters rotating towels on the window ledge to prevent water damage to the dry wall. A word of advice: AVOID slide in windows, unless you have a stucco house. The only thing preventing water intrusion into your house is a thin line of caulk. And we know that caulk eventually fails. We have other very minor leaks from these crappy Milgard slide-ins, which we will have Estero Glass eventually replace. I can highly recommend them. They do quality work and the owner was very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to hire them for any glass work you may need.
