Hi. My name is…read moreMickey McAfee. As you know it has been incredibly cold this winter. About 3 weeks ago I reported my need for a fill on my LP tank. It was at 30%. Which, is where your team in West Branch requests report do they can refill. About 5 days later in bitter cold a truck apparently attempted a fill. But according to the nice ladies in your office the "senior driver" was unable to fulfill request becsuse I live on a slight hill. He could not make it up. He told them to tell me that I'd be required to "sand hill" and plow further before another attempt would be made. Well there are no excavation crews delivery of sand between frost laws and typical winter shut down. Therefore, I hooked up my snowplow and pushed snow as requested. I applied approximately 15 bags of sand and 5 bags of salt to hill. I had to travel quite some distance to obtain salt and sand which, are at low stock. I got sand and salt applied. Driveway fully plowed. I tried an older 2 wheel drive vehicle to see if it could make it up hill. I called your West Branch office. I expected delivery immediately. But your "senior driver" waited until 4pm the next day to attempt delivery. Well overnight we got snow followed by extremely cold temps. Rendering our hill fix which cost more than the lp gas delivered null. I mean a lot can happen in 24 hours. He showed up finally no call so we could spread more sand anda related thru my brother that he again couldn't make it up hill. He sarcastically asked "wherez the sand". I wasn't there. But the sand was buried beneath snow and ice again. I called main office in West Branch hoping to come up with alternatives besides sanding which I'd already done. I told the lady that wasn't an option. I inquired about other options. I could hear someone in the background saying sand i told her that wasn't an option. I'm disabled. My brother has health issues. My son had autism. We need heat. Not stress. We need answers. Not attitude from a driver. We need alternatives like a couple hundred pound cylinders delivered and stop making excuses, put longer hose or chains on and deliver. It's called customer service. As of tonight, I'm down to 5%. I hope I make it to morning with heat and ability to cook. Please get with your workers and work out a reasonable plan to keep paying customers warm. Especially, those with health issues who've attempted earnestly to accommodate driver requests. There simply must be some quick and inexpensive way to deliver some amount of lp gas by tomorrow morning. If not I'm gonna find a firm that can and is willing to meet customer needs. Thank you Mickey McAfee West Branch, Michigan 48661 Hope to hear soon. Yahoo Mail: Search, Organize, Conquer

This summer I installed a standby generator at my home. Our power was constantly going out and I…read morewas afraid to go away for work or vacation for fear of the pipes freezing or food spoiling. Coyne handled everything to install the propane service from the tank to the generator regulator. They even tightened up the supply line, then leak and pressure tested the service. And I wasn't even home when they did all that. Last week the big day finally arrived. Our power went out in a snowstorm and within seconds the generator was online. The power was out for 12 hours, and the generator never missed a beat. For the first time in 14 years since moving in I had complete confidence and peace of mind that our house would be OK in a power outage; whether or not I was home. No more staying home from work, no more filling gas cans for a portable generator, no more babysitting. Thank you Coyne for a fast, professional, and thorough job of providing fuel to my new generator. PS, since installing the generator Coyne has installed real-time remote tank level monitoring on my tank. Now they know, and I know, exactly how much propane is in the tank so I never have to worry about running out, even under generator power. Great job Coyne!

We are restoring a century-old log cabin and needed a propane provider. Being new to propane, I…read morecalled five different companies that served the Grayling Ausable River region to ask questions, compare rates and get a feel for their customer service. Every other company just referred me to their web sites and FAQ and a couple told me that their scheduling/service was limited. Fick and Sons Grayling was the best on every level. I was lucky to reach Brian Klemish when I cold-called Fick. Even before we settled on Fick as our provider and opened an account, Brian offered to drive to the cabin when our HVAC installer would be there; he helped select the best location for the new stub and advise us re the best size and location for our tank. Later, Brian walked me through their service plans and helped me set up our account. Kari, who handles scheduling, thoughtfully scheduled (and rescheduled at our request) the install and service around our contractor's and our schedules. The day set for the installation, Evan and Trenton also consulted about the best location for the tank, placed it, ran the line, fired up the furnace and walked my wife and me through everything including propane safety. They got their work done expertly and without delay and yet were thoughtful, friendly and patient the whole time. That we experienced the same friendly, expert and accommodating customer service from several different Fick folks at every stage from cold-calling to ask questions through to installation and ensuring the new heating system worked tells me it's not just a coincidence, it's the way Fick and Sons does business. We highly recommend this company and their people. We're grateful for the help, the care they showed us and the education they gave us at every step.
