Well, this is the Navy Pier of Chicago or the Atlantic City Boardwalk or the Santa Monica Pier ....OF THE BALTIC SEA. Full of tourists, restaurants and shops. I spent many days walking up and down, enjoying the view, the sun, the rain, the coffee and the food. Great for people watching and for restful solitude on the beach. Also, they sell a lot of Amber here, but I have found you can get better prices in Krakow. *pics read more

The fact that you have to pay to go on this gate make me feel really angry about Sopot... nothing amazing I think but full of tourists for sure read more

This area is by FAR the BEST thing to see in the city. Most cities in Poland have an "Old Town"…read morearea. This one just hit different for me. I easily spent 90 minutes just standing around looking at everything. The amount of details on all the buildings is just unreal. The Neptune statue is awesome all on its own. Such a great area to walk around and relax, take photos, and eat.
