Kevin, from Skelton, arrived on time and performed his diagnostics. I expected it to be bad and I wasn't disappointed (pun intended). After running his tests, we obviously needed a new air handler. We "sealed the deal " on Friday to install a new attic unit air handler with heating coil backup, and the new unit was installed on Tuesday. The two installers were on time and I wouldn't have known they were there except for an occasional thump in the attic. He came out on a Sunday after church and was in the house for about 2 hours. While he was there I noticed a smell but thought maybe it was because we hadn't had our carpets cleaned recently so it would go away - mind you, we do not now nor have we ever had any pets. After the carpets were cleaned he had us walk through but we didn't even know what we were looking at so we just noticed that the carpets were wet but some of the stains were gone. WRONG! After several hours (more than 24) the carpets were still soaking wet, the smell was HORRIBLE and all of the previous stains had come back including more that weren't noticeable before! The carpet also had a disgusting residue on it which was being tracked onto our hardwood floors and making a huge mess everyday. I called Mr. Tellis to ask him what he used and told him about the smell and mess and he said he would gladly come out and rectify the situation. We made an appointment for the next day. I waited and waited and he never came. I called and left 3 messages and he didn't return any of the phone calls. To this day I have never heard back from him. I got a carpet cleaner from my mother in law and have cleaned them myself 3 times and each time I am pulling up dark brown mud colored water. I think the water he used was filthy as were his truck and clothes on the day he came out. I would NEVER recommend them and I hope that you will pay the extra money to use a reputable carpet cleaning company so you don't have to have the experience that I have had.
