We thought we were well-covered with USAA Roadside Assistance, but after multiple delays from their contracted vendor (Agero) and over 2 hours of waiting, we took the matter into our own hands and reached out to Doug at AA Tech. He was there within minutes, got our spare tire on and proceeded with finding and installing a new full-sized tire. He was both professional and personable. We were on our way home within an hour. I had a spare course, the spare was extremely difficult to 26 years old no sign of anywhere, when Ron inflated it the valvestem went. So grateful that Ron and Jan knew what to do, and he just hustle that 20 foot trailer with my ski boat on it onto his beautifully, well equipped, flatbed trailer, and Syd I will see you at your house and Woodland Hills. They dispatched a technician to my location and I was told it would take approximately 20 mins for him to arrive. The tech showed up 40 mins later, and couldn't find the battery in my Audi. I had never changed my battery in this car before. And locating it turned out to be a little more tricky than simply popping the hood and searching around. After the tech spent a few minutes scratching his head, I did a quick google search. I told the technician the battery was located under the vehicles spare tire in the trunk compartment. We removed several items to access the battery and the jumpstart was successful. The technician asked me for cash as a form of payment. I rarely ever carry cash on me. He asked I send the payment information to a phone number. Feeling uneasy about texting my credit card info to a random number, I called back the office to try and pay over the phone, no one answered. I texted the number of the individual who set up the appointment - radio silence. This all could have been avoided if 1 I was told to have cash handy before the technician arrived, and 2 we live in a digital age - what business doesn't equip their technicians with some sort of device or scanner to take credit card payments? I waited in the parking lot for another 15 mins or so before the technician told me to just zelle the payment to a phone number. It sounded sus, but being that I was super late to another appointment, I obliged. Roughly an hour after I left, I received a text from the office asking for payment. ‍ I had to explain my whole ordeal with zelling money over to a random number per their technicians instructions. That was the last I heard. My 4 star rating may be generous, but solely reflects the reasonable price I was given to jump a battery. The service would have went smoother had the technician arrived closer to the time frame I was given, and known where the battery was actually located. Also, utilizing modern technology to accept debit or credit cards as a form of payment would be a huge business improvement.

We pulled off on the 5 fwy heading south , at the top of the hill of the grapevine. As soon as we got assigned we called Edmonds to be more specific as to our location. The dispatcher informs us that he has no one to send. He would call us back in an hr with an ETA. I am 2 hrs away from home, exhausted and this was the last thing I wanted to hear. I called AAA back wanting another company. The AAA dispatcher called Edmonds to get more information and AAA was told they would be there to help within the hour. Never happened. We kept getting texts postponing the arrival time. We called Edmonds multiple times and they wouldnt pick up. When the dispatcher finally picked up he was laughing and said, "I can really give you an explanation as to why I didnt pick up. What do you want me to do, I am trying to locate a driver." This was two hours after our intial call. I was flabbergasted by the response. Luckily after multiple calls back to AAA to get help from another company, a good Samaritan stopped to help us. The stress of being stranded and add lack of empathy from the dispatcher was unreal. I am just grateful it wasnt bad weather or a big emergency.
