Brunswick Bowling is (almost) all a good bowling alley should be. Warm and inviting, well organised and with enough space! The only negative I can come up with is cleanliness. The balls and lanes hadn't been polished for sometime. My rule of thumb is, in places like this, that should happen at least twice a day, but hey nobody's perfect. Friendly staff and attentive waiters abound and are fairly quick to fix any mechanical problem. All electronic scoring with touch screen displays in 6 languages, so no worries there. Plenty of lanes and balls as well to go around. Overall a very nice place to have a few games even if you get beaten by an American. Hehehe

Not a bad place at all to bowl, and or get together with friends…read more Went here on two occasions, one time I went alone, and one time I went with an extremely large group (organization had organized a bowling trip). Balls are plentiful (but slightly oily - as is normal for house balls) Lanes are in good condition, but perhaps the lanes should be oiled a little more frequently. When I went with the group, they activated Disco (or Cosmic) bowling. While I used to love this as a kid, as I became (as one of my friends put it) a "serious American bowler" I do not don't enjoy it as much. Cosmic bowling not as "cool" as in some place, but gives the cosmic feel without an overwhelming amount of lights flashing in your face. I did not try the food, but based on my peer's reaction I think it was pretty good. The automatic scoring system is modern - and comes in several languages. However, I could do without the constant teases. I realize if there is a pin remaining it is an open frame... I do not need a constant reminder by an animation where the pins poke fun at me. Staff was nice and spoke English A little pricey though...

Bowling in this "center" is like walking through a time tunnel back into the 1970's when these…read morebowling machines were new (around 1975) but also at a time when people had no clue or a care in how to properly dress the lanes with "oil" for proper scoring. Customers willingly pay high prices for awful cheap beer and that must be what keeps this DUNGEON in operation. Fine for a recreational bowler who participates in the "sport" a few times a year and for children to have a great time at a birthday party. With lousy Brunswick Twister bowling pins that do not react like real "normal pins", you'll check your drink or whatever you may be smoking to make sure you're not seeing things if you know anything about real bowling and scoring at all. Having worked in 11 bowling centers in America and Asia where I managed 5 of them, walking out the door at the end of play is the best part of the experience at Plus Bowling. Any bowling center in the United States would be out of business in less than 6 months with these pathetic scoring conditions. That all being said, however, Gary in the Pro Shop is the only person in town worth seeing for any and all items related to bowling like shoes, balls and other accessories. Gary is friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with and he obviously has NOTHING to do with lane preparation. Enough said, AMEN.
