For years it was impossible to get an appointment with the doctor so PA's or NP's were the only providers with availability to see you quickly. However, when you see the provider they are usually thorough, they ask lots of questions and do a health history review. It seems now there is less of a wait to get in for an appointment with a doctor, usually within 1 week you can see them. So that's a huge improvement. On the flip side, wait times after you have checked in the day of the appointment to see the provider have been lengthy. On occasion the waiting rooms were packed with patients saying they were waiting at least 30-45 minutes after their appointment start time. I'd guess they are overbooking their providers' schedules. I have received different cosmetic treatments here, also, and everything was perfectly executed (not to mention, wait time was extremely short). I think Brianna is great at what she does, she is also very nice and professional.

He didn't introduce himself. Just asked what my problem was and flashed his light at the general area when I held my hair back. He didn't sit and actually look at the mole or move my hair to look at it. I'm over here worried about skin cancer and he's basically telling me to get lost so I can move on. Told me he could remove it if I wanted, but I want to know if it's cancerous or not. Called for a referral to another doctor as I was walking out the door. Never would ever recommend him!

I came to Art of Dermatology for melasma and was happy with how the appointment went. I had been…read moreconcerned about the uneven pigmentation for some time, so it was helpful to finally talk through it with someone who explained the options clearly. The provider discussed a realistic approach, including how consistency and sun protection can be important, rather than promising an instant fix. I really appreciated the honest and practical advice. Everyone in the office was welcoming, and the appointment felt calm and well organized. I had enough time to ask about my skincare routine and understand what changes would make sense for me. I left feeling more informed and comfortable with the plan. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return for future skincare needs.

I have been a patient for about 2-3 years now. While the practitioners are great, I'm incredibly…read moredisappointed in some of the carelessness I experienced in medication prescriptions as well as a recent billing incident that left a very poor impression. At my last appointment, I was sold their in-house ointment that evidently contained an allergen of mine that is in my patient record and has been since I first started going there. No one took the time to apparently check before handing it off to me. I had to return on my own time in the middle of a work day to return the medication. Not to mention, when I was called for in the waiting room for my appointment, they called me by the completely wrong name (they literally called me "Jezebel", not even close to my actual name, and when I informed them, there was no apology. The tech just entered a different version of my name in my notes "so they would know how to pronounce it next time"-- incredibly rude as someone who already deals with people mispronouncing my name often.) Now I'm dealing with an unauthorized charge to my primary payment method for the bill from my last appointment, even though I had already paid them with my HSA card as soon as I received the claim from my insurance. I called multiple times to speak to a manager after speaking with billing (which was incredibly unhelpful and did not reverse the card charge as they claimed they would). No one would route me to a manager or claimed a "case manager" would get back to me (they never did), and each person I spoke to on the phone had a very poor attitude despite this being a correction on their end. I ended up emailing them with a thorough explanation of the situation, requesting reversal of the unauthorized charge and asking to see the policy/consent form which states they are allowed to charge my card without my express authorization. I received a passive aggressive one sentence email in response saying my charge would be reversed in 24 hours (with zero comment on the unauthorized nature of the charge or evidence of any policy that allows them to do so on my behalf). No apology for the inconvenience, no confirmation or proof, just one sentence reply. Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and unnecessary difficulty in issue resolution from a medical care facility. I can't say I want to return after going through this.

I have had many injections over the years and none of them have hurt, I asked the PA why this one hurt. No answer. I went back in two weeks for a follow up because I developed a scab and it was not going away. The PA said the cyst had ruptured!! When it finally healed, it ended up leaving a scar the size of a dime. Third visit, Dr. Turner came in and her solution was Botox! I was NOT going to trust them with more injections on my face after what had happened. Plus I was NOT going to pay for further treatment. Needless to say I was very upset! Still upset and still have the dime size scare on my face! Martha B. Lake Orion

I had a skin tag that needed to be removed it was very tiny, but everything Chelsea did and say was making me feel uncomfortable ashamed and disgusting She also kept saying keep the smell away, you smell or you don't want to smell.. I felt so ugly I don't smell but she made me feel like I do.. I'm so upset . She stated if I wanted a cyst removed it would have to be scheduled as a " Surgery " and that insurance will not cover it which I thought was strange. So after she made me feel like I was quasi moto, I scheduled the "surgery " to remove this tiny cyst on my back. After less than 10 minutes in the office she just kept saying don't pop anything don't irritate anything but she never touched me other than to remove 1 tiny skin tag. She made me feel so ugly & disgusting. As I went to pay my $20 co-Pay the desk girl said it's $85 I'm like what for ? She said insurance doesn't cover it! Today I get a bill from trinity health saying they billed my insurance and I owe them money.. then I spoke with BCBS & they informed me that after speaking to Caudill dermatology that they never should have charged me and I have a $60plus dollar credit, and that most drs take your co- pay and bill you for what insurance doesn't cover . I wonder if I hadn't called trinity, BCBS if Caudill dermatology would have let me know that I had a refund coming back or were they just not going to say anything if BCBS hadn't called them? Hmm ? So I hated the way they made me feel, the girls in the office are like perfect little stepford children. Robotic and unfeeling. I'm still looking for a good dermatologist but finally I had to say something especially when going to the dermatologist you have a skin problem so why would they make you feel worse. Highly recommend NOT going. Very Bougie! Ugh
