Clinic director and therapist Mohammad Baig is one of the most arrogant and unpleasant people with whom I've ever had the displeasure of interacting. My son and I were scheduled for recurring appointments with Haley Langert. I explained to the office staff, and to Haley, that we would always be late for the appointment due to my picking up my son from his bus stop and that we would come directly from there. I explained this multiple times and was assured that this was ok. We arrived to the clinic (inside the building) at 3:15 for our second 3 p.m. appointment (to which, again, I had already told them we would be late) and received a voicemail from Haley, as we were coming up in the elevator, that she was marking us a no-show. We walked into the suite at 3:16 and there was no one at the desk. We waited 11 minutes for someone to come out; this turned out to be Mohammed Baig. From the beginning, he was condescending, arrogant, and cold, speaking to me as though I was somehow at his mercy. He repeatedly chastised me for being one minute past the grace period, even though I explained that there was an understanding that we would be late. He forced me to explain at length the reasons why we were late, and the reasons why a 4:00 appointment wouldn't work for us... I mean, really? I am wondering if this is a place where most of the clients are court-ordered or something, as that is the way that he spoke to me. Like I was a criminal. He then told me that not only could we not have the appointment now, after driving all the way there, but ALSO that we were going to be CHARGED for the appointment!!! I was absolutely floored... no one charges for appointments when someone is one minute past the grace period, one time... and has already stated that they will be late! Just absolutely abysmal treatment which my son did not need to be exposed to, as he already suffers from social anxiety and this individual was a perfect example to him of exactly why that anxiety is justified. read more
