The mineral pool produce a lot of salt. For me to get a beautiful picture, I decided to walk into the pool. Before you walk to the pool please make sure you bring enough paper towels. Because after you walk there is not place to wash the leg. The salt mineral pool is unique in color. The calm day make is a red color deflection pool. Some of us get in the pool.

There are three salt mines nearby which produce 63% of the salt consumed in Türkiye. Our tour group stopped here for a break from driving and we had a chance to take photos. It's a totally random spot but really cool to check out. There's a gas station, gift shop, coffee shop, and small cafe. I grabbed a cappuccino before walking outside to meet up with our group. It's worth a stop if you're in the area.

Even though this is Turkey's second largest lake it is only a few feet deep and completely dries up for a couple of months each year.
