Plus our order was accurate, reasonably priced, and included ample chips. We ordered steak and queso burrito ($14.47), queso bowl ($7.99), and extra chips. I'm a fan of Moe's Southwest Grill, and thank goodness because it's one of the few places to eat within immediate walking distance of DPAC on Monday evenings. I love the welcome to Moe's greeting upon entering the front door. Due to the show at DPAC it was quite crowded. I was able to place my order in a decent amount of time despite the line almost out the door. The ingredients were fresh and they are generous. I ordered my meal to dine in. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They do a great job keeping the meal prep area, as well as the dining area very clean. There was a young lady on the floor making sure it stayed that way. Great location in durham right at the ball park for the durham bulls and a 2 minute walk to dpac. Service was extremely friendly, fast and efficient. They actually wrapped the burrito well so that nothing fell out. Food was good, so was the guac! One thing to know about this Moe's is to expect a wait on a week day during lunch hour, even when ordering ahead. I have only done the order ahead at this location through their app (because of the great deals they are always offering through the app) but I always have to wait longer than the predicted pick up time. The staff is very busy with the customers ordering at the counter and filling the online orders. The food is always fresh and typical Moe's quality. My family stopped here after leaving Durham Bulls Fan Fest... mainly because we saw a sign out front that said "Kids eat FREE Saturday & Sunday". My husband and I both got burrito bowls and our kids got cheese quesadillas. Our meals were good... I personally feel Moe's slightly lower quality than Chipotle but still decent. I agree with another reviewer that the food was lukewarm- which worries me about food safety if it's not held at a proper temperature. I do love that chips and salsa are free at Moe's. I especially loved the avocado salsa! Delicious! Kids meal included chips, drink and cookie! The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. Free kids meals meant family of 5 ate for $21! I came here in the afternoon when there were very few people here so I got my food fairly fast. I wanted to try something different so I got the stack with chicken, which is essentially chicken, beans, shredded cheese, pico and queso between two crunchy corn shells all wrapped in a grilled 12" flour tortilla. I like that it's heated so the cheese melts like in a quesadilla but I was disappointed in the lack of chicken... the whole thing was dominated by beans. The chicken was very tender and overall it was very flavorful, so maybe I'll try something else next time. The total came out to be $9.46 which is more than I would have liked. I didn't know it came with chips or else I would have gotten some salsa to go with it (I got takeout). I basically couldn't eat the chips however because they were so plain... like worse than ones you buy some the grocery store. I have friends who come to Moe's every Tuesday night for a Kids-Eat-Free-deal and I finally decided to try the restaurant out! They do cater and my work orders their make-your-own-burrito option, and they deliver tortillas, meats, salsas, fillings. Parking is slightly tough when there's a Durham Bulls game but we found some street parking about a 5-minute walk away. My husband and I both ordered "Homewrecker" burritos, one pulled pork and one steak. The pulled pork was amazing especially with the sauteed mushrooms I added in. The burrito was packed with rice, black beans, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole. I liked how each burrito came with free chips and free salsa at the salsa bar. Great place for fast Mexican food with fresh ingredients! I do like the rice slightly more at Chipotle though. read more

Typical Moe's, but what happened to "Welcome to Moe's" when you walk in the door? My teens actually miss this unique touch. Policy or staff engagement? Two things knocked this review from "average"; chips pretty much crushed into mostly small pieces. Two, :30 before closing, the staff was cleaning with strong-smelling chemicals, pretty much ruining any chance of enjoying the food. The only reason I came here is because Tobacco Road was too crowded, I should have went to Only Burger. We recently got catering from here for a work function, and I found it to be pretty tasty, but really nothing to write home about. We got hard/soft taco shells, a tray of beef and chicken, rice, black/refried beans, pico, salad, chips, fixings, etc. Overall, the beef was quite tender, though nothing was terribly flavorful. I've eaten at several Moe's Southwest Grills but the one in Durham near DPAC was a disappointment. First of all the service was very slow, the food was lukewarm, and the table where we sat was very unstable. We had to be careful not to touch the table so our food wouldn't slide off onto the floor. First off let me say THANK GOODNESS ATC HAS QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANTS NOW. Like seriously. It's such a relief not to have to have to wait an hour or pay an arm and a leg for dinner before a DPAC show. Before Moes, Only Burger, Which Wich and Ed Mitchel's (which is no longer there) our options for an inexpensive dinner by the DPAC were very limited. Now that i'm done gushing about the options....How are they? Well......Pretty okay. I've been to the Which Wich and the Moe's now and i'm left with a "Okay." I only rate it a star higher because Moe's presense was sorely needed and the prices are good! The Moe's here is your typical Moe's, about the same size and layout of every other one i've seen. The menu is the same and the prices are the same. The only difference is a few specials (free queso with your DPAC or Bulls stub!) and the crowd. Depending on what's going on at either venue depends on how crowded Moe's is. We came about an hour and fifteen minutes before a DPAC show on Sunday and it was about half full, with a very modest wait time. As we were leaving (with about 45 minutes left until the show) the line was out the door and 90% of the tables were taken. So definitely get there early. Moe's fills a need and does it decently enough. If you're hungry before a show and don't want to drop crazy money stop by! I'll definitely be back. read more

I order delievery from this location and they forgot my queso. I live a few minutes away, so I drove to get my queso. When trying to park at the location I was unable to get down the street due to an event . When I finally got through traffic my food was cold, so when I arrive I asked the associate if he would remake my food. He informed me that he gave me that he would give me my queso, yet he refused to remake my food. I asked again and he told me my order was correct just missing the queso. I told him I was inconvenienced after having to drive to the location when I ordered food to be delievered, and had missing items. He still refused . Long story short Hutch (if that's his real name) you should practice better customer service to paying customers. Moe's is just not good. Working at ATC, I am confined to a few options for lunch, and sometimes Saladelia for the 5th time in a row isn't it. So it's Moe's, which is healthy enough, and okay enough, and affordable. Chicken is pretty dry, salsas taste literally like Tostitos, and there is a slightly canned/chemical overtone when the food is combined. Rice is the worst, and if I could improve anything, that would be it. Rice should be the binding agent for a great bowl, but it consistently has no taste and feels slightly undercooked. Value is good, guacamole included, nice portions. Just wish it tasted better. I cannot tell how much I wish I could trade Moe's for Chipotle and Which Wich for Potbelly at ATC. read more

Had vegetarian bowl for 6,59, which is a pretty good deal, lot of food. Parts of the lettuce was a little bit wilted. But the rest of the toppings were fresh. The black beans and the rice is tasty. However, jalapenos from a jar. The salsas from the little bar are quite good and taste fresh. The guacamole lacked some flavor, too bland, like it had been diluted. I appreciate reduced sodium levels, but the chips had like literally zero salt, and they are not warm at all. This food is better than most fast food in the area, when you want a break from all the fried and greasy stuff. I know Moe's is a chain and chains are mostly pretty gross but I actually prefer Moe's over a lot of other chain Mexican places (looking at you, Chipotle). I usually order two fish tacos. They grill the fish, which is what I prefer, and I really love the shredded cabbage and pico de gallo, along with the chipotle ranch sauce. I had a stale chip in my chips last time I ate here, but usually the chips are nice and crunchy. Try the fish tacos if you're not digging their other options! read more

This place barely had a clean table in it, though most of them were empty. The ladies' room had no toilet paper, which forced me to have to use the men's. We have used this Mo's many times (at Durham County EMS) and have always had the best service, and the food is always hot and so good! It is so easy to order, and the delivery has been on time and the delivery person (who is so polite and nice) will set up everything for you! I had a sub par experience today via the online ordering. I received a burrito that was inedible due to way too much hot sauce that even leaked, soaked and tore through my bag. HOWEVER, upon lodging my complaint, I shortly after received a personal call from the manager who was understanding and apologized. He went on to offer to send out a replacement meal or a refund. I find that it's harder to find an establishment that cares about it's customers these days and that it should be commended. read more

I've eaten here a few times and the service is hit or miss, depending on who is on the food line. Recently, the service has gotten worse over time. No smiles, greetings or friendly service. Chik-fil-a this is not. The reason for the 1 star is the newly adopted policies. The taco salad no longer comes with the taco shell that holds the salad. Instead everything is just thrown together in a plastic container. Yum. The last two visits I purchased the burrito. I was given 1/2 a scoop of chicken and the scooper is very small to begin with. When I asked for a little more chicken I got another half scoop and a $2 and some change upcharge, bringing the meal close to $10. Today I visited and purchased a kids burrito meal to go. At the register I was informed that the manager would not allow anyone over the age of 12 to purchase a kids meal. I informed her that I was going to have lunch with my child at school and was taking him a burrito, that's why the order was to go. It was reiterated that I could not purchase a kids meal any longer. Fine, from now on when I have lunch with my child I will go to Chik-fil-a. I'm sure the food will be cheaper, taste better and I will leave with a smile from the friendly service they typically provide. Win, win. read more
