Those answering the phone are extremely rude. I wish I knew about the reviews before I had them install all new heating and cooling appliances. Since the install, it has been nothing but problems. Now, not only have they refused to honor the warranty (i.e. unless I agree in advance to cover additional expenses they will tack on later), they also tried to convince my husband (i.e. without leaving the store), the problems with my appliances (i.e. I've only had them three years) are due to wear and tear. Now they have refused to honor my warranty and it's the winter and the furnace is not working. That was not even the start of it...the initial install of my appliances was done incorrectly, causing an odor to spread throughout my home. It cost me a great deal out of pocket to identify and then fix the issue and they still charged me 200.00 and it was all their error from the very beginning! They are scammers! The technician that comes to the house is very nice…read more However, dealing with the billing department is a nightmare. We paid over $500 for them to come repair our AC. Less than 3 weeks later, the $323 part they put in burned out, they came and replaced it again (bill again was over $500). The second time they came, they found the original problem that caused the part to go bad in the first place. Now they are trying to tell me the less than 3 week old, $323, part is not under warranty. After much discussion, they finally said they would split the cost of the part with us. They said since the manufacturer would not warranty the part, that they couldn't just "eat" the cost. I guess they feel an elderly couple on a fixed income (social security) can better "eat" the cost than a large company!!!!
