Our company acts as an agent or broker for individual and commercial clients, specializing in property and casualty insurance. History

Established in 1961.

Modica Associates began as a small neighborhood insurance agency. Its founder, William Modica, was a pillar in the Carrol Gardens Community for almost fifty years. In 1987, after graduating NYU, Frank Modica entered the business and since then has expanded his client base to over 25 states. Modica Associates has stayed loyal to its neighborhood client base by providing the most competitive premiums on Insurance for Brownstones, Condos, Coops and Autos. Modica Associates also provides its larger national accounts the "hands on" service they need. Transportation, Construction, and Government Contractors are handled out of its satellite offices. In 2013 Modica Associates entered into a business partnership with Anchor Brokerage Inc., one of New York's premier Insurance Agencies. Located at 8232 18th Avenue Brooklyn we are now part of a staff of over 19 Insurance Brokers offering our clients products from almost every major Insurance company in the US.

Meet the Business Owner: Frank M.

Frank Modica, the company's President, graduated NYU with a Fine Arts Degree from Tish School of the Arts. Frank is a Life Member of the United Nations Foundation and an active supporter of many community based organizations including Smith Street Stage, Selectively Evolving Environements, Career Gear, St Francis Xaviar Little Legue and Ice Hocky in Harlem. He has extablished educational funds for the underprivileged and is currently supporting international Music events for IBLA Foundation.
