I told him the mural company had recommended using a wallpaper liner, but he said that method was outdated and said the wall needed to be mudded and sanded instead. He explained that it was a large project that would take two full days and quoted me $1,000. Based on what he told me and believing it was a full two-day job, I agreed to the price. The installer arrived the next day at 9:00 a.m. and left before 10:30 a.m. He returned the following day at 9:00 a.m. and was gone by 1:00 p.m. In total, the project took less than six hours. I feel I was lied to about the amount of labor and time involved, especially considering the final cost worked out to around $175 per hour. To make matters worse, the installer left immediately after my son paid him and did not clean up the mess, despite saying he would. There was sanding dust all over the floor, and even the mural installation directions were left taped in sections all over mural. My son ended up cleaning everything himself. I would never use this company again! The installer was apparently not even an employee but a subcontractor, which is probably why the pricing and timeline were so inaccurate - and so high.

We had custom floor-to-ceiling drapes made in gorgeous moss velvet and vintage accent chairs reupholstered in stunning salmon pink velvet. The wallpaper installation was seamless and easy, taking a few days, and everything was completed on time. Our Tiki Lounge is amazing! It's the perfect escape at the end of the day, and we love entertaining in the space (it's hidden behind sliding barn doors, so it's a nice surprise for guests!).
