The receptionist told me a short consultation would cost $70 and asked if I wanted to see the doctor now. I said, "If the doctor is available, sure." After my 10min consultation with the doctor, I went back to pay. I was then informed that if I had come on a weekday and seen the same doctor, it would've cost me $40 instead. And prices vary by the day of the week, time of day and doctor. I told the receptionist I would have really appreciated that information when I walked it. I was very obviously not having a medal emergency and told her if I had known I would have gladly come back during the week. Her response was a very snarky, "Sorry. Have a good day." I was astounded how incredibly rude she was. Although the doctor was nice, I will NOT be returning after that service.

My first impression made me a little concerned about what I had gotten myself in for. (You will be hoping that you're not waiting long in the waiting room.) The upshot is that the prices are also lower for first time customers, compared to other CBD dentists in the area. Fortunately, the dentist I saw for a basic scale and clean was quite helpful. Sometimes a half-hearted generic flossing lecture from dentists is easy to ignore. But she was able to use a mini camera and x-rays during my visit to quickly and effectively illustrate some areas to keep an eye on. With those concrete visuals, my flossing regime has just gotten a lot better! At the end, she even spent extra time personally making sure that the billing for my insurance was correct. My impression is that she is someone who looks after her patients.

I have seen a few of the doctors at Wellness Medicine and I found them to both be outstanding…read more They all listened to me and involved me with my treatment and got in contact with me as soon as my test results came back (not all GPs do this!). The reception staff have always been nothing short of delightful, efficient and friendly. I like that you can see a GP, or see someone who specialises in more nutrition / health based solutions or "wellness" as they call it. The GPs costs are about normal for a GP for my experience and you can get in straight away, and for a specialised "wellness" GP session, it costs more and there is a few weeks wait when I tried to get an appointment for this service. I read a few books and diet based approaches to neurological problems and it is fantastic to have a GP who is educated in these 'natural based' preventions that I can talk to about this.

Too often, clinic doctors want you in and out in minutes so they can see as many as they can for $$$. Not here. I now have a regular doctor and I'm getting things checked and done that I'd let go for too long. They welcome new patients and are very woman friendly. Most of the doctors here are women, but there are also two male doctors. They offer full services including immunisation, asthma education, women's health, diabetes education, minor surgery, and mental health. The ladies at reception are very helpful, always have a smile, and can process medicare rebates direct onto your EFTPOS card immediately after paying. Appointments are scheduled for 15 minutes intervals, but if more time is needed, they will spend it with you. However, if you know you are going to be there longer, it's recommended that you request a longer appointment. They aren't open on weekends, but for those working regular business hours, they offer night appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays until 8pm. Child friendly. Cannot recommend enough. Sept 2012: Editing to add that they're now open Tue, Wed and Thur until 8pm.

My husband required complicated extractions and jaw surgery. Dr Paino was available outside of business hours on his personal mobile to provide support to my husband late at night when he was extremely unwell after being released from hospital. Last month my son was due to fly interstate but was unwell with an infection related to wisdom teeth. We messaged Dr Paino on a Saturday night to seek his advice and he immediately responded and provided a telehealth appointment and arranged for a script to be sent to a 24 hour chemist. This meant our son was well enough to travel a few days later. We can't thank him enough for his expertise, kindness and willingness to provide such out of scope help and support without expecting anything in return. He is not only an excellent practitioner but someone very special who treats his patients like family. We can't thank or recommend him highly enough.
