Just a heads up guys, don't ever get your hair done at Modern Cut in Airport West (the one near the food court). From other people I have spoken with, the consensus is the same: AVOID! I showed the hairdresser there a picture of how I wanted my hair TWICE, even coached her through how I wanted it as she was doing it, and she managed to give me a square-cut bob from the 80's instead. When I went back to express my disappointment (after having it fixed elsewhere by someone who clearly knows how to cut hair) and ask if I could have a refund, she tells me that I didn't show her a photo until AFTER she had cut my hair and that I apparently "freaked out" about being charged $65.00 and that was why I was asking for the refund. She even went as far as to say that the haircut I had now was just a result of being blow-waved properly, and that she'd done the majority of the legwork to get it to where it was. Sweetheart, ANYONE can cut hair from a person's head. It takes real skill to style it, which was what was done to my hair by someone way more professional than you. Also, I don't like being called a liar, and I certainly don't like being accused of trying to pull dodgy refunds. Completely unprofessional. The manager could only offer me a free Cut and Blow for the next time, but sadly there won't be a next time. I don't mind paying top dollar for something that is done well, but $65 for something that made me want to put a paper bag over my head is not services rendered. Verdict: Stay the HELL away from Modern Cut in Airport West. read more
