Mod pizza is great. If you've never been to Mod pizza, then imagine a pizza place that would be the equivalent to Subway if Subway were to make gourmet sandwiches. You start by picking your size dough, then build your pizza any way you like. They have the standard toppings you would expect to find on a pizza and some not so standard stuff like roasted garlic and roasted cauliflower. They finish the pizza off in an authentic brick pizza oven so the crust is nice and crispy. I recommend topping your pizza off with the pesto drizzle. The medium pizza is large enough to feed my very large appetite as they let you pile on as many toppings as you want and the price is still under 8 bucks. Stopped by here for lunch on a weekday. The service was super friendly, I was greeted on the way in, and thanked on the way out. The young gentlemen were all working super hard and fast throughout the entire process. They have plenty of choices for toppings, and everything looked fresh. I love the option for additional toppings on your pizza after they have fired it, such as garlic sauce or more pizza sauce! The quality of pizza is as good as you can get for a fast service pizza joint, the crust is fairly crispy. I will be back again for sure. read more

My first time trying Mod. Pizza is good. I like that you only pay for the dough and can load up on the ingredients. If I knew before I would have gotten more ingredients. We did get double double, not a fan of double dough will get the regular thin crust. It has to much dough when you can have more cheese. Overall good place will be back again. The bathroom was the only downfall. The floor needs to be updated. Like I was walking into a bathroom at a high school stadium. read more

I was in Chicago briefly and saw this newly opened MOD location. I've eaten at MOD in AZ and CA, this was possibly the best yet! I chose my ingredients, saw the pizza put together and slid into the oven, minutes later out came a mighty fine pizza pie. I love all their fresh toppings and usually adding toppings costs exponentially more, not here, that's a good deal in my book. Add what you want, it's still the same price. Pizza was great, crust is something different from the usual places I go. The restaurant is very family friendly and clean. Plenty of high chairs, I even saw an employee diligently cleaning a couple high chairs, having kids I always wonder if that's done, very good and comforting to see. The employees all seemed outgoing and happy which always makes for a better experience. And the management was helpful, seemed to be working with the employees instead of just standing around twirling his keys. He also greeted me by name and asked how everything was before I left...he even offered to refill my drink for me as he saw it was low when he passed by, not your every day customer service in a fast/casual restaurant.
