I stopped in after drinking at a nearby bar. I've visited other MOD locations and they have a process used at all. You choose your size mini or mod a d you get unlimited toppings. Not many places do this. The service was good with one exception. We both orders lemonade to drink and after we paid and sat down the lemonade machine was empty and wasn't refilled while we were there. That shouldn't happen. It's never happened at any location I visited. Please correct that situation.

Back for another visit to MOD. All locations That I've been to Have been consistent with the quality of food. I love the fact that for one standard price you can get unlimited amount of toppings and customize the pizza according to your liking. I normally go with a cauliflower crust which is a slight extra for having cauliflower as the crust. To start off with your choice of crust, add any seasoning or garnishing, cheese and sauces, followed with toppings. Some of the notable toppings i use Are mushrooms jalapeños Serano peppers garlic and garlic and more garlic. The pizza is ready within couple of minutes and it tastes amazing. Also, they have a reward program where one dollar equates to a point and if you have 150 points, then your next pizza is free. Pretty cool

Ordered the Tristen and side ceasar salad. The pizza was DELISH - will absolutely order again! The salad was cool, crisp and fresh. The got here like Jimmy John freaky fast - and the delivery person was super nice. Definitely a new customer.

Let me start off by saying if you're looking for pizza you'll easily find anywhere better than MOD Pizza. My boyfriend and I decided to create two pizzas - a cauliflower crust and a regular crust pizza both with their spicy red pizza sauce and selected our toppings. When we got our pizzas, they tasted brunt and we couldn't taste any of the spicy red pizza sauce, when they were preparing our pizzas we even requested for additional sauce. Nothing had flavour except the jalapeño topping. We didn't keep any leftovers, avoid this place at all costs.

I love Mod Pizza in general. The customization to the pizzas all for the same price is really hard to beat. Also healthier than other pizza places. However, my experience at this Mod location was only ok. COVID measures: they're doing a great job with this. All the workers are wearing masks and every other table is blocked off to allow people to eat in store if they'd like. They also have plastic coverings between you and the workers to protect both sides. The only thing I was mostly disappointed about was the lack of veggies available at this location. They didn't have broccoli or spinach or many other veggies, like they have at other locations. They also didn't have containers for crushed red peppers (you have to ask for this separately if you remember), oregano, or parmesan to top the pizzas, which they usually have put out by the drinks station. That was a little bit of a bummer. In addition, I also ordered the cheesy garlic bread, which turned out to just be a pizza that they add garlic, basic, and cheese too, which was a little disappointing because they used the thin crust pizza for that but usually garlic bread is more fluffy, so thought they would have used their thick crust option for that. Overall, I like Mod Pizza. Maybe not this location, but love their customizability.

I come here quite frequently and the staff is always so friendly and helpful! Also, their online orders are very efficient and quick. Most other mod locations in Houston tend to mess up my order but this location has never messed my order up which I greatly appreciate. This is definitely the best location in Houston!

I don't know what is up everyone's behind today. Currently witnessed an employee fighting with a customer bc they left their pizza getting cold and didn't call them for minutes after. They gaslit her, I saw her waiting a long time. Then the first guy creating pizza has the most deadpan stare at you and told me verbatim that "I messed up the pesto sauce." It didn't look good so I decided against it. Then the next guy in charge of cheese asked me "do you just want the spicy sausage " I was still on sauce so I replied "huh" then he said "do you want it or not" then picked a piece of spinach off the metal parts of the trays and placed it on my pizza. I asked to have it removed then he said "I got it from the spicy sauce area" duh why would I want a piece of spinach that travelled three spots to be placed on my pizza. He had an attitude with me that I didn't deserve nor asked for. And as I finish this review the workers are all still bad mouthing the customer that left minutes ago. Ruining the atmosphere for everyone. She needs to read the sign placed above her. "What matters most is what you do next." I came here every week. Now I will never come back. Good pizza brought me here, but removing ricotta and all the tension I witness and neglect of care for creating food and an atmosphere is what took away the business.

Very nice clean . Listened to what I wanted on my order worked well as a team to not let the line build up. Ingredients looked fresh and everything looked organized. Only input to mod is over $3 for a drink is not reasonable! I wasn't going to put it in but hey you can't improve if I don't open my mouth! The girl with the pony tail made a slick comment about me under her breath to the manager. I do think the manager could have looked a bit more professional and not like she was going to do laundry. IJS And why lie I updated the lady who was making my food I did yelp and you would think I she would put her best foot forward. She acted as if I was another person ready to gripe. No I am very specific with what I like and I like what I like. The difference I don't have to be rude I am polite. Regardless of what a person wants be happy your employed not like ugg just order a pizza. If that's the case I would go to papa Johns. This is not something that can't be fixed this is something that needs modification. Starting from the top. I bet we get tired of thing but be happy your employed not annoyed

I really love build your own pizza at MOD. They put as much and as many veggies/meats you want. Being a vegetarian myself I get a lot of options to add on my pizza but sometimes feel it could be better if there were more veggie proteins. Like in some places I have been with similar concept they would have tofu, chickpea, eggs, similar proteins for vegetarians. Good price and good food still.

Blaze pizza is better but if you're looking for a make your own pizza place then this is your next best bet. This location though however isn't the best, the workers are super slow and they've messed up on my order before. read more

Bad....didn't listen to my directions, my wife directions and my kids directions on making the pizzas and salads. My wife got the regular salad and I requested the same size HOWEVER I received a salad for 4+ people AND THEY CHARGED ME for 2 MEGA SALADS. The grilled chicken in the salad was half FROZEN and a few bits didn't even taste like chicken. Asked for easy dressing half Ceasar and half EVVO, the top said Caesar but must have been the ranch bottle. The Romain lettuce was 80% bottom and center vain even had a couple chucks of BUTTS (the bottom with hard small leaves). This was not our first visit to this location actually we have one closer to home but this one WAS better. Overall extremely disappointed!! read more

This mod was pretty close to the galleria and there was ample parking. Julie was an exceptionally nice cashier who even came around to check on us and make sure we enjoyed our pizza and didn't need anything. The pizzas were cooked to perfection as well. This last visit they were out of some ingredients for the pizza which was slightly disappointing but there are a zillion other options so the pizzas were still great. We tried the garlic cheesy bread and 3/4 of us enjoyed it. Be warned it's huge so order a smaller pizza if you want to eat both. read more

Absolutely terrible service, I came in with someone and they literally skipped him. He didn't even get food. They went on to the person that came in after us. Didn't even ask me to pay, completely pushed me out of the way for the people who came in after me. I brought the issues to the guy on shift and he said "Oh." This is absurd, I've never been treated so poorly, if I could give less than 1 star I would. Never coming back. Don't recommend to anyone. Pizza was good, but what bothered me was NO ONE behind the counter had gloves on. The girl sticking the pizzas in the oven was sliding the pizza of the spatula with here hands and fake fingernails. I thought that was pretty disgusting. Hair was also long and lose with no net or anything. Pizza station was filthy when i walked in but was cleaned as i waited. The only reason why i still got the pizza was because i had five different people's orders i was picking up and we all had already paid through the APP. I had no desire to request a refund on all 5 orders. I wont be back though, thats for sure. read more

My husband and I decided to try this location a couple of days ago. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. We shared the "Mad Dog," which was delicious! We came back tonight, and were welcomed by both Donovan and Javier. We also brought my 92 year old father in law, and he really enjoyed himself. I'm so impressed with your staff, and also the great pizza! We'll definitely be back! read more

My family and I absolutely love this place!! As soon as we walked in the staff gave us a huge welcoming. They could see we were a little shy and confused since it was our first time there. They called us out and explained to us how the process worked. They told us that we can either pick off the menu or create our own. They suggested making our own since it was our first time there. Went on 8/10/18 . Great staff ! Clean inside and restroom ARE CLEAN ! I'm big on restrooms being clean. I just stumbled on the this location it used to be a pasta spot. Got a complimentary drink for being patient as they filled out orders. Manager was very friendly! read more

First time coming here, I let the man behind the counter know that I had my service dog, showed him our is, not that's it's a requirement, but he said it was. Not true. As we moved down the line Wilson, I believe his name was apologized for the other mans rudeness. He was super polite and greeted me with a smile and prepaired our meal. Jessie checked me out at the end of the line and was also very very friendly. Would've given it 5 stars but the first guy kind of took it away. read more

This mod will not let you heat the protein for your salad. They wouldn't even listen to the fact that the Mod near my house puts the meat on a pizza dough to heat it. "We don't do that here!". Interesting because I've also had the meat heated here....guess it depends on who shows up as to what customer service you get. read more

I really love MOD Pizza. I had a bad experience today with online to go orders. I went to where you pick up the pizzas and told them the names of the orders. Mine was sitting there waiting at when it wasn't time to pick it up. My other two I was told it was still in the oven, kept telling me constantly. They were NEVER in the oven. I told the manager, those two were credited and made again while mine was cold. They wouldn't do anything for mine. It's a busy place yes, but you need a better system. Not happy but I am sure I will be back because the pizza is good. I just think they need to rethink their system. When I got to work the remade pizzas and mine were not even right! read more

The lady that took my order gave me a sour face and look like she did not want to be there. While I was ordering the lady was rushing me and I could tell she was not having a good day. She almost looked mad whenever I asked for extra cheese. I asked for two drinks and the guy told me it was total $25 for two pizzas. I had to remind him that they had a deal going where it was only $10 for the drink in the pizza. They don't care about you. Finally the pizzas came out it was so badly prepared that most of it was just crust ...it had very little cheese and mostly sausage. When I showed them the pizza he grabbed the plate and threw it away and told me to get back in line ... I wish I took a pic but they didn't give me a chance...I had to wait an extra 20 minutes to re-order when they could've just made my order right there and then. TRULY TERRIBLE SERVICE . I WILL NOT BE COMING HERE ANYMORE . If I could put zero stars I would . read more

Staff was friendly but unorganized. They were more worried about being social than than doing their jobs. Pizza was undercooked. I was waiting by the register to pay for 10 mins and no one was there. I could have walked out without paying and they wouldn't have even known. Finally I asked again and they rung me up. read more

Love MOD! Everyone's always so kind. Today I came into this location and Will was so friendly and upbeat as many of their staff are! I didn't realize there was a MOD on RIchmond! Perfect location. Been open 6 months now from what he told me! I ordered a Caesar Salad and Gluten Free which is ALWAYS well done. A lot of restaurants don't bake the GF long enough, but I've never been disappointed here! read more

I was so excited to try Mod today, I have never been. I didn't know how the process works. The person behind the counter didn't do a fantastic job of explaining it, and seemed impatient with me, even though there wasn't anyone behind me . Then the second person seemed the same, just short with me. On top of that barely put any tomato sauce on my pizza. It was so dry, and didn't have as much flavor as it should. Please work on the service, and if you must use disposable items use earth friendly read more

I ordered the Coffee Cowboy pizza and a full order of Dad's Bruschetta (Dad OG's). It took quite a while for the food to be ready, as it was a Friday, and was just blowing up on social media. So I recommend ordering online beforehand, I also noticed while waiting for my food to be ready, that the staff taking orders were bias towards certain customers but that could just be me. There are more tables and seating outside in front with napkins rolls available which I sat at when the food ready. The Coffee Cowboy pizza had coffee-crusted hereford flank steak, smoked onion bianco sauce, mozz, white cheddar, caramelized onion, smoked salt, and truffled arugula. But sadly wasn't to my liking along with the Dad's Bruschetta. Overall, food wasn't really to my liking, and recommend ordering ahead of time.

I apprehensively tried the alfedo sauce on my pizza for the first time (a or so month ago) and to my surprise it was honestly very good. As usual MOD always has the freshest tasting pizza, sure its a little darker on the bottom at times-- but after all they are baking in a stone oven ... freshly created by you. I'm glad I switched it up. I was not disappointed at all as Izzie and Jazz made my experience at MOD a great evening out. Thank you ladies -- keep up the good work. Update on October 3rd -- I came in for a MOD to go, dinner,... during the hours between 2:50 and 3:30pm. One young lady seemed to be new, so no harm no foul will not judge a training associate we all have started fresh at work somewhere a time or two. The other young lady seems to busy to begin my order correctly. I have never ordered at MOD and came home with an overly greasy crust. She didn't roll the dough and I had to ask twice for toppings -- as it appeared she was as making a pizza for a toddler. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed with MOD @ this location. I definitely will come when Izzie is in --- or visit the locations near the Galleria or Sugarland. I honestly looked great hot out the oven but trying to eat it was a problem. This place recently opened up down the street from me and now I can satisfy my pizza cravings as often as I want with excellent pizza. The crust is fairly standard, neither too thick nor too thin, and the baking is almost always on point (a few times there's been some partially overbaked crusts, but it's never been a big deal to me). The red sauce is delicious, and the option to add garlic and herbs to the sauce layer allows for great flavor. There are many options for cheese but I tend to stick with the mozzarella. If you aren't familiar with these new pizza places, the pricing is by size, so you can go with however many or few toppings you desire. The toppings are always fresh and full of flavor. NB: As a bit of general pizza topping advice, I highly recommend salami for a more fully developed flavor alternative to the standard pepperoni. The staff is courteous and friendly, and have even started to recognize me from my repeat business. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, which makes sense since this location opened recently. read more

Two, the managers and the employees were upbeat, positive and everyone greeted me with a smile on their face. The service was amazing and the final product (the pizza) was even more amazing. I had a pizza craving tonight and decided to try MOD Pizza at Richmond and Sage, because it was close and fast and fully customizable to satisfy my craving. It not only met my expectations, but the service of the staff exceeded them. Will and Jason were great (as was the pizza)! They were very friendly and the general atmosphere was upbeat and positive. I definitely recommend checking them out--especially if you're someone who likes unique or multiple toppings. Alright. Pizzas have not gotten better in a while. Your typical places just serve the same things that can be boring once in a while. There is really no effort in making a pizza. However, there are few places that can balance great pizza with great service. If you need a little more spice for pizza, then come to MOD. Thea has excellent service, I stopped her to ask a question bland not only was she very sweet, she was very pleasant to talk with. My first experience with MOD (not this location) was not a good one, but I must say, this location was much better!!!! The staff was upbeat, friendly, and easy going. I have been going to this location once every week or so since it opened. Every time my order is ready for pick up almost as soon as I enter the building. The employees that work there, Malik most recently, exemplify customer service. All the employees are quick, polite, friendly, and produce a consistent high-quality product. The food is great. I love it here. You really can't go wrong with the many options they have for pizza toppings. I haven't had a bad one once. And the price is great especially because they charge a base price for the size of your pizza or salad and not for the toppings you choose.
