Never thought pizza could taste so crappy, it was so disgusting that I couldn't even finish first slice. Garlic was absolutely burnt and it was waaay too much of it, pesto sauce was bitter and white sauce was absolutely tasteless. MOD is fast and well located to my office. Pizza made fast and fresh seems a good bit healthier than typical convenience eating, or that is what I M telling myself anyway. I love the fact there is a patio even if it is right on Evergreen. Only a couple of beers, but they are good and local. I am not 100% sold on made to order versus picking slices in the case and having them heated... But it seems to be working for MOD and I am not complaining as they aren't much slower being custom than if they were pre-made. I am predicting many more check-ins here as we are in full on summer. read more

Terrible place, i had food poisoning after eating their salad! It must be from The dressing since it's 90 degrees outside and I noticed all of their dressing bottles wasn't in the fridge! Gross! If you've never had "real" pizza....you'd love this place. Otherwise, it's LEAPS and BOUNDS beyond the Godfather's Pizza/Little Ceaser's. You walk in and are immediately welcomed by the staff. After telling the gentleman that helped me out, I was encouraged to put on 'as many toppings as you want'. I picked a standard one on the menu (I forgot the name....it was a girl's if that helps). Anywho, it had garlic, artichokes, and I think just sauce. I added on tomatoes and onions. Also ordered a salad (a girl has to be healthy). It was ceaser and I added olives and a few other ingredients. They cook your pizza after the toppings have been had and toss your salad right in-front of you (tehe). And they give you a number until your pizza is ready a few minutes later. Plus: Hot and THIN crust. Not cracker thin...but nice and crispy. Salad was great. It was like a salad bar, but without people sneezing all over the romaine/touching the tongs. That's just gross. Minus: Crust got soggy real quick...not enough cheese. This place would have gotten one more star (I understand, you can't make good dough unless you are in NYC/Jersey City) if the sauce was any good. Sauce was not just bad, it was pretty bad. Sweet and chunky. Kinda ...a lot like Ragu. It was like a bad business partner that thought it was doing you a favor, but instead wasted money on some pretty tacky billboards along I-4. Also...this is just a suggestion...you need to cattle prod people that lean too far over the counter. I don't fault the people working there b/c jeeze, they must be grossed out....but seriously people. Maybe more of a cover/higher counters for those pesky leaners. THE FOOD DOESN'T LOOK ANY DIFFERENT IF YOU LEAN INTO IT. Verdict: Would go back again...early to avoid the leaners....get a salad and a white pizza with extra cheese and tomatoes. read more

My family and I stopped in here for Fathers Day dinner after the long drive back from Tillamook. We specifically stopped here because they had a "free pizza for dad" offer. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and they explained the ordering process to us. The pre-designed selections were great, and I was impressed that once you picked your size, you could customize it anyway you wanted (for no extra charge). The service was fast and pizza very good. They even gave my two kids "samples" of the chocolate shake for no charge. Overall, a great dinner and experience. We will be going back. read more

I haven't had MOD pizza in awhile, so I decided why not! I did an online order to be picked up at 8:15. Then I get home and the pizza was not what I was expecting. I know I should of checked it before leaving, but it shouldn't be this complicated. Plus it was not busy when I picked it up. I asked for pineapple on half, but it was on the whole thing. I asked for jalapeños, none of that. And the cheese was just sprinkled on top instead of on the actually dough. The crust was burnt. I asked for gluten free and it wasn't. Pretty sure it was undercooked. I asked for the srirancha swirl, didn't get that either. I used to love MOD, but now I'm not sure about it anymore. What do they put in these pizzas? My friend and I ordered separate pizzas and both of us felt incredibly sick for hours afterwards. I ordered a red sauce pizza with mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, and cheese. I liked the ordering process and watching them make the pizzas and how fast they came out, but I think that's all I liked about this place. I admit the first few bites tasted okay but as time went on and the pizza cooled down, I felt like I was eating cardboard. The thin crust was flavorless and hard, without any of the crispiness that you usually get with thin crust pizzas. What really bothered me was the thick layer of cheese that must have something in it because I think that's what got me sick. I'm so traumatized I don't think I could eat here again. read more

I'm a total fan of this place! We came across one in Seattle first, and were totally excited to see one go up nearby in Hillsboro. The Caspian (their version of BBQ Chicken) is a favorite- they have the wood fired thing going on, with those delightful little black wood fired spots decorating your crust with yummy smoky goodness. The crust is thin and crispy, and they are liberal on the amount of and type of ingredients you can pile on- each pizza runs about 7 bucks, and you can load it up however you please, which is liberating! They also offer salads for the same price, same style- you can load it up with as much stuff as you like (I always go for chicken and bacon to do the cobb thing- plus, who doesn't love bacon?) Atmopshere is clean, laid back, and service is quick, which I always appreciate. Extra bonus points- we went on the evening before the official opening, bcs we saw ppl in their and got overly excited- and their director (or man in charge) let us in anyway, when he saw the disappointment on my face. We got to try their goodies a day early, and their corporate folks proved to be the nicest, most down to earth folks on the planet. Even more bonus points! read more

An average rating for really good food but I really hate the waste here: plastic salad bowls and plastic cutlery for dining in with no recycling. It's a hang up I have. Gone there and almost every singe time there has been something wrong with the orders. One of my family members has a severe garlic allergy and the workers were careles enough to out multiple things containing garlic on it. Another time my vegitarian friend got mutiple types of meat put on their pizza, and just tonight I got an entirely different pizza from what I ordered. Not to mention them forgetting to add stuff to our order. I understand them being mostly teenagers but some of this is just not ok. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I forgot my mask and they give me one and I guess I wasn't wearing my mask right and the girl was extremely rude and had major attitude in her tone of voice and the way she talk to me saying I could pull it up or leave. She then stared at me the whole time while we ate and made me extremely uncomfortable. Then when we got our pizza I looked at what she wrote for my name. She put "evil" Like I get it gets old asking people to wear mask but that doesn't mean you can be that rude and write that on my paper. I'm paying customer. Considering we are in oregon the pizza here is decent (by that I mean how few places can make a good pizza here). If I were in pdx I would prefer a slice from escape or a pie at handsome pizza. With that said, I had pesto and tomato base with mozz, basil, cilantro, onion, and tomato. I enjoyed the pizza. Its big enough, but it is a small pizza for 7.50. It's worth a try and I will probably stop by again sometime. And it is better than a frozen pizza from trader joes. It's the best comparison I could come up with. I hope that family owned pizza shops continue to thrive in the US and that the future of pizza is not quick serve. read more

Yelped this place and ordered my version of a veggie pizza as well as a regular meat lovers pizza. They told me they did everything custom and what did I want specifically on each. The sauce was quite good enough that my wife was even eager to eat it, and she hates pizza sauce at most places. The toppings were plentiful, and the dishes well cooked. Because, it wasn't just the food and order that took forever, also, silverware, plates, and napkins too a while. Drinks took a while, too. Always a great place, fun staff & good food, can't wait till we can get the full menu and seating again

We frequently come here because the speed of making pizzas is great, and the ability to load your pizza with how much and whatever you want is a great selling point. However, our pizza is burnt about 50% of the time, and it's hard to return to the front of the line to remake another one. Additionally, there is often a loooong line to wait to get serviced because they group online orders with regular in person orders, slowing down the speed of the line. Horrible customer service. I got there to pick up my mobile order, they said 5minutes. They never called it out once it was done and I had to go back up to check in a second time. Small changes could improve my review. I stopped by this location for lunch with my son it was around 2pm and traffic had slowed down. I was pretty sure I knew what I was going to order but took a second to look. The young man with the blind hair was holding the pizza roller as I read the menu he kept tapping it on the metal table. It was our first time visiting MOD pizza, we let them know when we got up to the counter and one of the employees explained how everything worked to us. They were super sweet and patient with us. We did visit pretty late around 9 and guy working the register had noticed they were out of the house made lemonades and offered to make more for us.
