This is a great steakhouse. I have been to both the one in Ciudad Obregón and the one in Mexicali. I travel to these places for business, and they are my go to when there. The quality of meat is fantastic, the cuts and varieties, are plentiful, and the different appetizer dishes are superb. You can count on the consistency and the quality of the food, it's great every single time I have gone. You can go, get adventurous, you won't go wrong with anything you order from them, in fact, that's the hardest part, making up your mind. LOL. It's all very very good. Excellent service, atmosphere, and food! I never miss visiting mochomos at least a couple of times when I'm in town! The Beef Wellington isn't on the menu but it's a MUST! The Filet Mignon is phenomenal and pairs perfectly with your favorite wine found on their list. read more

I have been to Mochomos in Obregon six times over two years. They are consistently great. The food is great. The service is great. The menu has many options. The appetizers are first class. The pulpy las brasas is incredible. I'm a fan of rib eye and they have four on the menu. Try the appetizers for different tastes and then settle for a steak the best you have had. read more

The food was excellent! The service was horrible! The Captain was texting on his cell phone when we arrived. I had to go ask someone about our reservation. I wanted to ask the girl who charged us a question and it appeared she was talking to her boyfriend or husband on the cell phone. Great restaurants do not allow their employees cell phones on the floor. But the employees do what the boss does. He was on his cell phone the whole time we were there. Probably will not go back! The owner should go to Bronco and learn how to give great service. read more

Lovely restaurant in an upscale neighborhood in the city. They have a wide selection on the menu (which they have in English). We had the beet and goat cheese tower (which I would not get again, not well executed). My husband got the signature shrimp soup, which was spicy and delicious. We shared the seafood platter and the duck tacos. The duck tacos were amazing! They offer a full range of Sonoran steaks, which smelled delicious. They also have a nice wine list.
