I have been to this place a handful of times and I'm barely posting a a review. I keep eating my mochinuts before taking a picture is why!!! I love that they have new flavors every week so it's always a treat when stopping by and seeing what's new. They recently had a pb&j mochinut that was absolutely DELECIOUS!!! I'm not sure if they still have the crème brûlée mochinut on the menu anymore but the waffle itself was yummy! I love the dirty horchata and I always ask for my drink to be made at the lowest sweetness level because I find the drinks too sweet. I've also tried the Korean kdogs and it was good. There was nothing special about it but it tasted good and I love the packaging for them! One of my favorite boba places in Bakersfield !! read more

today me and my mother came. we were greeted as soon as we walked in. the staff working were amazing. i believe he was the owner, he talked to us about how he spent several hours perfecting his milk donuts. they were amazing and id definitely recommend trying them! the drinks were very great, we had milk teas. Do not recommend. The Korean hot dog wasn't even fully cooked neither was the sausage and the sausage tasted cheap. Didn't even give us our toppings on the side like we asked. To top it all off the Dubai chocolate cup was falsely advertised, and my drink wasn't even cold. read more

Donuts are good and seem fresh. Food seems to come out fast but drinks are terribly slow. My Vietnamese coffee was disappointing. It's usually my go to everywhere but it's made so strong at this location I couldn't finish it. We will be back to try the corn dogs sometime though! read more

Korn dogs look better than they taste. Nothing to write home about. We got the korn dog with mozzarella. It was more cheese than hot dog. The size of the hotdog was the size of a Vienna sausage. We also go brown sugar milk tea with boba. The milk tea had no flavor whatsoever and all the boba stuck together. Absolutely awful service! we ordered through the kiosk and waited for 35 min while the staff of 8 employees were chatting at the counter, nobody bothered to ask if we need anything. After 35 min I asked about our order and was told that the kiosk was out of printer paper and they didn't know that we had ordered but an employee asked us earlier if we needed help with the kiosk app. No apologies from staff, no rush either to finally prepare our order as drinks took an additional 10 minutes per drink and we ordered three. Our order was also missing a mochi donut, that staff had an attitude when we told them we were missing it. Very disappointing! read more

We have now tried this place 2 times, first time was a flavor shock, this second time is much better... our matcha drinks were delicious and plain cheese corn dog was delicious, the marshmallow and red velvet mochi donuts were delicious!!! Everything is delicious!!!! I only grip is that the hotdog in the hotdog mozzarella corn dog is sooo tiny! Other than that everything is good is moderation with the toppings. Excited to have Mochido in Bakersfield! Located in the Southwest along Coffee Road beside the Bundt Cake place at the Frugatti Plaza. Usually get my Mochi Donut fix in Orange County. I am happy to have it here now. Ordered the Lemon Cheesecake, Raspberry, PB&J and Blueberry Glaze mochi donuts. Delicately sweetened, light, fluffy with mochi chewy goodness! Enjoyed the 4 mochi donut flavors that we purchased. I loved the Lemon Cheesecake and Peanut Butter and Jelly flavors. The bubble drinks: My husband really enjoyed his Ube Cloud with boba. My Strawberry Yogurt with popping strawberry boba was good too. A little tart and sweet. We also tried the Korean Corn dogs. There are options. Order to your preference of filling and topping. My choice was mozzarella with ramen topping. Delish! Service was friendly and quick. Order at the counter and pick up when called. The dining area was hip. Loved the moss wall with neon lights. The service isn't great I ordered from the kiosk because the line for their only cashier was very long. I ordered the Korean corn dog with potato I added sugar, ketchup, and spicy mayo. However when I got it nothing was on it and no one mentioned that they keep the sauces in a bottle on the side for you to add yourself. Meh. Not worth the trip here. Service was very very poor and lacking. The milled about like they were bored but couldn't get it together when the order was placed. My husband and I walked in at 11:30am today. It was a little busy about 4 families in front of us. I ordered 6 pack of donuts, 2 drinks (horchata boba & Thai tea boba) 3 Korean corn dogs for $55. Customer service lacking, drinks were ok nothing I would return for. Donuts are not authentic and fluffy, airy what I was expecting. The staff touching hats and face and not washing hands bothered me. Korean corn dogs we ordered took 25 minutes (it wasn't even that busy) & were missing hot dog inside we got order with only cheese and that was not what we ordered. Save your money. Will not return. I tried a few things for it being my first time and it's kinda far for me. I got 3 drinks and mine was the brown sugar tea (I asked for boba) but didn't have any that was sad. I was looking forward for my boba. The drink was AMAZING though! I also got a k dog supper yummy but I wish it had more dog it was too small for me because it was delicious. I'm pregnant and got food poisoning the undercooked batter on the Korean hot dog. I only had 2 bites and noticed the dough batter was runny. I ended up in the hospital on IVs. I understand working with lots of customers can be stressful but undercooked food can be fatal to infants in the womb. Please be mindful when frying the batter. If you are going make sure to get there an hour or two before closing otherwise you will get bad service and watered down drinks. On Instagram it says they close at 8:30, we got there at 7:30 and it already looked closed. We asked the girl mopping if they were closed and she said that they closed at 8 and that all we could have was drinks and the premade donuts. That's all we were there for so we said ok,since we didn't plan on staying to drink them there. Another girl who took our order who looked just as annoyed as the first girl said we might not have boba. After talking to a guy in the back she said it would be ready in five minutes we said ok it was only 7:33 at this point. While we waited for our drinks another group came in and were greeted with the same "you can only have drinks and we are closing soon" and attitude we got and they just left. We got our drinks said thank you and left. When I tell you they were the most watered down no flavor drinks and the boba had no sweetness to it at all just bland and chewy. Why say on Instagram you close at 8:30 but close at 8 and staff give attitude with half a menu 30 minutes before closing? Just close at 7 then. I would avoid this place, there are a lot better places to go for better service and drinks. read more

4 stars just because we've only tried four items. All have been very good but that's a fraction of their menu. We went on Dr. MLK Holiday and maybe they'd been really busy and that's why they were out of things we requested. One for her and one for me and zero donuts for us both. Cashier seemed a bit frazzled and not quite rude but not exactly friendly either. Maybe had to tell people that they were out of stuff too many times-idk. So went back this afternoon and different cashier, no substitutions and yes we tried the donuts. Hokkaido milk tea with honey boba reg ice and reg sweetness and another light sweet and light ice with lychee jelly. Delicious. Too sweet and I go to sleep so the light sweet was perfect for me. The donuts have a different texture, like a chew that we both like. The strawberry lemon icing wasn't pronounced enough but the ube cheesecake was really delicious. Working up to try the mozz/potato deal and hot dog thingy. Honestly menus with too many choices make my A.D.D. heighten and I nearly glaze over but I'm workin on it. Stopped by to get some mochi donuts and milk tea & I left unsatisfied. Mochi Donuts weren't bad, they just tasted like any other mochi donuts. Milk tea was awful! There was not enough milk and tea ratio, it was more like just black tea poured into milk. The service was mediocre.
