Near the train station and tons of hotels, so there are a decent number of English-speaking folks who come in, but the sweet little lady behind the counter doesn't really speak too much English. She was all smiles and happy laughs, though when I tried to speak the 4 words of German that I can muster out.
Kleines frühstück = delicious coffee/tea and a yummy roll (semmel) with jam + butter for 3 euros.
Or you can go with the grand daddy frühstück and get cheese, meat, an egg, rolls, and coffee/tea and make your own tasty breakfast sandos for around 11 euros.
We had to draw her a picture of a fried egg in order to show what kind we wanted though...so come prepared with a pen! Now I know that spiegel = fried ;)
Spiegelei ftw - they cooked them to perfection. Whites completely cooked through, but a heavenly gooeyness of a yolk.
They have ice cream + pastries as well that look yum yums.
