Lens communication during each phase of the home renovation project was excellent, always sending us pictures of the progress when asked. He was very up front about costs and there were no 'hidden extras' of any kind. The workmanship was very high quality also. From ripping up sub-flooring, replacing drywall, plastering, painting, replacing doors, fixtures, knobs, tubs, toilets etc. Everything was very well executed. He provided suggestions on what to do, and even suggested ways for us to cut back on labor and material costs. And above all else, he even went out of his way to help us with some appliances even when he didn't have to and made sure he left the job site clean and tidy. We hired this company to build us a new house and have had nothing but trouble since we moved in…read more Examples of some of the issues are roof leaked, chimney caught on fire, leak in shower, land cleared completely when we wanted the trees left, bad workmanship, cuts corners to save money, etc. I could go on and on. The company does not honor their workmanship or the agreement - both written & verbal commitments. The owner doesn't watch what is going on with builds and leaves it up to contractors. The build quality is very low, we have many deficiencies. The contractors he had looking after the job don't care about the job, cut corners and take forever to get anything done and lie to their customers and to the owner himself. Even after showing email exchanges proving the above, the owner still does not believe us. Something that should have taken less than 6 months to build our simple house, took over a year to build and after living here for a year we still have deficiencies outstanding. As a customer were talked to rudely & with disrespect, again we raised this with the owner and he didn't believe us even after showing him a text message exchange with his contractor. This is just our experience with this company, want others to be aware that this company is all talk and no walk. I know this is a well known company in the area and they have built many house, but I'm telling you the wool was pulled over peoples eyes with this company. Don't let them fool you too.
