Incorrect hours, malfunctioning pumps, indifferent to unfriendly employees. This gas station used…read moreto be open twenty four hours then when COVID hit, they started closing at midnight, then at the beginning of the busy summer season, they started closing at ten o'clock. There used to be very friendly employees here but they left and it's been a rotating door of unhappiness. Some obviously hate their job while others hate the customers as well. When the pumps changed to reading chip cards, they couldn't actually read any chip cards but also wouldn't run the cards' magnetic strips either so you had to go inside to run your card. I thought the point of paying with plastic was to avoid waiting in line while people ahead of you were indecisive about which ten scratch tickets they wanted to waste their money on. Well, that problem was solved but now after reading your card, the screen asks for your Irving Rewards card. If you don't have one, you have two-thirds of a second to hit "NO" before it says "invalid card" and you have to cancel the transaction, pull your wallet back out, and start from the beginning. I'm sure it's an easy problem to fix but the people who work there seem to feel removing all their piercings and jewelry for TSA is more fun than getting paid to work there.
