My chicken soup (Asian-style) was flavorful. This is just a small size that I got. For this workstation, they have the soup where you can pick either small or large and also select if you just want chicken, or tofu or prawns or a combination. There are vegetables as well. They also have veggie or chicken curry over rice. My husband got the mozzarella tomato basil (caprese) sandwich. You can also watch he chefs make rosti (potato dish similar to Spanish torta), cinnamon rolls and other stuff. They have a salad station, coffee, snacks and dessert station, among other things. There is a good sized seating area too. I also appreciated that the employees seem to be having some fun when it's not too busy.

The following morning I was supposed to have breakfast there, but the timing of my flight necessitated that I get a to go bag. I requested the bag for 6:15 am as they didn't open til 6:30. The bag wasn't actually ready when I went to the desk and checked out, but a concierge went and retrieved it. The meal itself was fine with a decent roast beef sandwich, yogurt and a few other things. The Radisson is a very nice hotel and even though my room was next to a thoroughfare I didn't hear any road noise. The gym and sauna were also welcome.

After a very long day with quite a few hours to go the affogato really hit the spot. Chalet Suisse's service was prompt and friendly and we appreciated having a comfy spacious spot to sit in since we were flying British Airways and thus didn't have access to the lounge. All in all, we'll absolutely return if we ever visit the Zurich airport again.

My last visit was in 2011, and I've missed the chocolate for the past 15 years. As such, I was pleased when a recent flight to Bosnia had a prolonged layover in Zurich. As luck would have it, this massive Migros is built into Zurich's airport. I was able to easily pop in to grab some souvenirs and four big ole bars of chocolate. Thrilled is an understatement. I ate one of the bars on my trip and brought the other three back to the States. I know I can't nurse them for toooo too long as they'll start to discolor, but I'm so excited to have some for the time being!

They have a second location in the food court (Foodland) of the Airport Center. But we prefered the sit-down, loungy atmosphere of this location.
