A couple of years ago I went to a burger company in the Netherlands and it seems like it's the same kind of meat, a mushy almost veggie burger consistency. But it was still edible. Apparently a lot of people like it because the place was busy. The service was friendly. The cokes are good too. If I go back I'm definitely not getting the same burger.

My chicken soup (Asian-style) was flavorful. This is just a small size that I got. For this workstation, they have the soup where you can pick either small or large and also select if you just want chicken, or tofu or prawns or a combination. There are vegetables as well. They also have veggie or chicken curry over rice. My husband got the mozzarella tomato basil (caprese) sandwich. You can also watch he chefs make rosti (potato dish similar to Spanish torta), cinnamon rolls and other stuff. They have a salad station, coffee, snacks and dessert station, among other things. There is a good sized seating area too. I also appreciated that the employees seem to be having some fun when it's not too busy.

So I conceded I'd be eating somewhere in the airport complex. After a walk around and finding nothing better I returned to the Radisson and Filini. Prices were high but my chicken schnitzel with truffle aoili and an egg was good. I also enjoyed an Erdinger as my last great beer for the trip. The following morning I was supposed to have breakfast there, but the timing of my flight necessitated that I get a to go bag. I requested the bag for 6:15 am as they didn't open til 6:30. The bag wasn't actually ready when I went to the desk and checked out, but a concierge went and retrieved it. The meal itself was fine with a decent roast beef sandwich, yogurt and a few other things. The Radisson is a very nice hotel and even though my room was next to a thoroughfare I didn't hear any road noise. The gym and sauna were also welcome.

The service was friendly and attentive right up until the end with the acception of a second waitress who was incredibly rude to everyone (and another table even complained) and the food was surprising good for an airport restaurant. It said "Vietnamese week" on the menu so my husband and I tried the specials: Chicken/Coconut curry and Skewered pork with mushrooms. We also enjoyed appetizers and their homemade ice tea. They have a second location in the food court (Foodland) of the Airport Center. But we prefered the sit-down, loungy atmosphere of this location.
