Stop by Mizu 21 on Sunday nice happy spot did not disappoint. Super friendly with great parking. Very clean atmosphere and the food was great. We had the Szechuan spice dumplings they were tender and flavorful with great broth. Then we ordered the Godzilla Roll it was done to perfection with lots of shrimp it's a must have. For dinner I had Steak with shrimp Hibachi absolutely delicious and a nice size portion. If you haven't been I would give it a try.

I wanted so much to love this place! First of all, it's absolutely beautiful. I went with a group of 10 to have lunch. The waitress while very sweet was not the right fit for a big group. She was very soft spoken and shy, and had trouble with orders. My friends ordered hibachi from the children's menu and she came back 10 minutes later and said she got trouble couldn't do that. I felt like at that point she should've honored it and known for the next time. She never refilled any drink drinks. I got the Kani salad and the shrimp avocado roll. Both were OK but nothing special. I would definitely try this place again as I have heard good things and has heard the rooftop is great. Does not blown away my first time.

When you walk through the door you immediately notice that this place is new and beautifully decorated. We were seated at the hibachi tables in the back, which were nice. Unfortunately, we noticed right away it was freezing. Like you can't really enjoy your meal freezing. I'm not sure if it's just that it's super cold out right now so the vents for the hibachi are just letting super cold air in or what. Most people were wearing jackets inside. As fast as food goes, everything was seasoned well and tasted good. Soup was good but lukewarm. The salad tasted good, but was extremely watery. I think they could revisit cooking order a bit. At our table they cooked rice first and then the noodles. Then everyone but one person got their steak. She had to wait another few minutes for hers to cook. Finally they cooked veggies last. Since it was so cold in the room, our food was cold in minutes so that was a bummer. I'd maybe consider cooking the veggies first since those take the longest. Service was fine, but they definitely rush you out a bit. I'd come here again, but maybe wait until it warms up outside a little.

My family and I gave this place another chance. We had a late lunch on Saturday (2:30). It was a great time to go because it was quiet with only a couple of other patrons. We decided to do hibachi for my son's early birthday lunch and it was his first experience with hibachi. We got our own hibachi table and chef. The service was great from the start. We got our drinks and appetizer out fast. The drinks, a Mai Tai and Long Island iced tea, both were great. We shared two delicious sushi rolls for $13; those were the Philadelphia roll and eel & avocado roll. I opted for the lunch menu item, shrimp hibachi; it came with fried rice, veggies, and about 6 shrimps. They also provide a ginger dressing and spicy mayo for dipping. The chef did a good job with entertaining us, especially my kids. The food and portions were pretty good for lunch. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly throughout our dining experience. Overall, this experience was night and day compared to our first time here. Yes, we definitely will go back!

Came here for my son's birthday, we ordered some sushi rolls and a sashimi deluxe plate, fish was fresh, sushi rolls are tasty. Hibachi experience was fun. The service is really good, and the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. Great location too! We are happy with our experience.

Gorgeous space and wonderful service. Something I really like aside from the food here is that there are photos of the rolls on the menus. The strawberry nigori cloud sake was my favorite but the hot house one was also great. I will return :) Thank you Jaivia!

"How could I possibly know what I want When I was only twenty-one?" (Sinead O'Connor) Remember La Trattoria? It was an old school Canton landmark of an Italian restaurant hidden behind a huge mound of rocks set back on Route 202. It was bulldozed away, the rocks were demolished, the landscaping was graded flat and improved, and a new restaurant emerged. Welcome to the replacement-Mizu 21, a super slick Asian Fusion Hibachi, Sushi, and Bar. The interior is just plain gorgeous, with a sleek and ultra-modern sushi bar, cocktail bar, dining room and hibachi room. There was a lot of applause and raucous laughter coming out of the hibachi room, so no doubt their chefs put on a helluva entertaining show. Our server, Colin was fantastic -full of personality, charm, and a deep knowledge of the menu. We each had an appetizer and an entrée. Our two appetizers were Harumaki ($7 for four Japanese fried eggrolls) and a Spicy Kani Salad ($9) with a big portion of crab sticks, cucumber, spicy mayo and a sprinkling of masago. Both dishes were very good. I loved the Kani, it was spicy and quite delicious. My wife's entrée was a Grilled Chicken Salad ($12) of thinly sliced marinated chicken, spring mix, avocado, edamame, and pineapple. It was a very generous portion that included quite a bit of tasty chicken. Half of it is plenty, so we had it twice. My entrée was from the Chef's Special Roll menu - specifically #9, an irresistible named Kiss of Fire Roll ($17) with spicy tuna, avocado, jalapeno slices, seared salmon, spicy mayo and a crunchy topping. It was amazing -8 plump slices overflowing with tuna, salmon, spice, color and texture. What a feast. Our excellent dinner ran $48.31 after tax and before tip.

After several years waiting for a replacement to the old La Trattoria, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and service at Mizu. Both the staff and food were amazing, answering my parties many questions about the menu. Lastly, the sushi quality was excellent and plated with great aesthetic.

We decided to try a new Asian restaurant that opened recently in the town of Canton Connecticut called Mizu 21. Both the outside and the inside of this restaurant are stunning and incredibly impressive in their size, comfort, and appointments. At about 5:30 PM, and without a reservation, we were seated in about 15 minutes from our arrival. The restaurant was busy and there appeared to be ample staff taking care of the patrons, although we waited about 10 minutes before someone arrived to take our order. We decided to try some appetizers first and chose the chicken yakitori, boneless ribs, and pan fried Gyoza with pork. All three appeared quickly and were presented beautifully and were delicious. For entrées, we selected the Mongolian beef, crispy chicken with peanut sauce, and I chose the hibachi deluxe with steak, chicken, shrimp, lobster, fried rice, and grilled vegetables. The hibachi deluxe was fantastic, accompanied by dipping sauces that truly made the meal special. The steak, chicken, shrimp, and lobster were all grilled to perfection along with the vegetables that were a great accompaniment to the proteins. With the exception of waiting to have someone appear at our table, we highly rate this new restaurant for its fantastic food and great menu. All of this food, along with a bourbon, a Prosecco, a whiskey sour and diet Pepsi, with tip came to about $200 for three. We brought leftovers home! Worth another visit!

"Eighteen I get confused every day…read moreEighteen I just don't know what to say" (Alice Cooper) There are six Golf Lounge 18's across CT, MA, and NY. They have an interesting concept - 8 bays for state-of-the-art video golf, and a sports bar vibe with pretty good food, Happy Hour prices, and big screen TVs all over. We took advantage of their Happy Hour when we saw all of their appetizers and draft beers were half price after 4 pm. Our two Shocktops were a paltry $3.50 apiece for a very generous pour. We went with ten chicken wings (Garlic Parmesan) for $7.48 and a cheese quesadilla with chicken for $7.98. The food was top notch -big meaty wings and a very tasty quesadilla with plenty of grilled diced chicken. We have to give a shout out to our young bartender/server Sean who was excellent. We enjoyed chatting with him - he was very professional and very friendly. Golf Lounge18 is a very interesting place, and we can envision all sorts of activity there- children's birthday parties, big groups out for some entertainment, something different for a date night -the possibilities are endless. Well done Golf Lounge 18. Our Happy Hour dinner with two beers cost just $24.09 before tip, and really..... how can ya beat that?

They pride themselves with offering gluten free options and an awareness of food allergies. This location is located in the Shops of Farmington. There are plenty of parking especially out back by the red barn. The restaurant was large and spacious. There was a huge U-shaped bar. They also have a nice patio area with plenty of seating and a fire pit; this would be great when the weather is nice. My family and I had lunch on Saturday. It was busy but not overwhelming. Our server was busy but super attentive and friendly. I noticed it was very kid-friendly since there were other kids there and they had a kids menu. Their menu was vast menu and I wanted to try so many food items. I started off with a hibiscus margarita; oh my, one of the best I've had, it was a 5/5. We also had the asian calamari; it's fried battered squid, banana peppers, and a side of sweet chili. This was mouthwatering good and it was a 4/5. I had a cesar half salad which was toothsome; the dressing, parmesan, croutons, and salad ratio was perfection. My main entree, I had the prosciutto wrapped cod; that is baked cod, wrapped with prosciutto, served over parmesan risotto and broccoli with lemon butter. The showstopper was the parmesan risotto, I could eat a gallon of that lol. The cod was okay, it needed more flavor but the prosciutto definitely helped with the flavor. Overall the cod fish was 3.5/5. Next time, I want to try their Thai sesame salmon, apricot shrimp risotto, pulled pork Mac and cheese, Bolognese, crab rangoon dip, and firecracker shrimp, to name a few. I was so torn but I chose a bit of a healthier option due to my New Year resolution. I loved that they had the total calories next to the menu items. My family and I look forward to going back soon!

I felt bad for the waitress as she tried hard to make our lunch experience pleasant (although I will say she and the rest of the waitstaff disappeared frequently even though the place was virtually empty), but my mother had something green and gross in her glass of water and then was served a salad with wilted lettuce, and I ordered a burger that took quite a surprisingly long time to make and it came out missing some toppings. It's possible the Italian place across the way is a better place to go, but I wouldn't come here again.

Saw there was a happy hour menu, so we tried the meatballs and pizza for apps and she got the Pinot Grigio and I tried the Cabernet. I could only get down barely half the glass of cab and when I called her over to send it back, she never asked if it was ok etc. or why I did t finish it. And I did ask her how the cab was before I ordered it and she said great! Clearly never tried wine before. I also saw that I was charged for the bad wine. No biggie, but in a better place they would have tried to make it right. I tried a Hendrick's and tonic next, and the tonic water was definitely flat. I tried to ask nicely if the tonic water was flat and she never even tried it, just saying oh no, it's fine. Very disappointed with that service and the drinks were terrible. As for the food, they might not have any spices in the kitchen as the meatballs could have had some seasoning added so they didn't taste so bland! Pizza was eh at best. Someone should teach them about salt and how a little bit brings out the real flavors! We won't go back...the wait staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than they did the customers. And the side of the bar nearest the door was cold as they kept one set of doors open, so always a cold blast coming in. No wonder so many restaurants are failing these days.

Confusion lie, as we walked in the main entrance, and there was no person to see us. Do we just go in and sit down? Do we walk into the pub and sit there? After a minute or two wait, a server came and sat us in the fireplace room. Menus were waiting for us along with the daily specials on this Sunday. The dinner specials were few and far between, and we passed on them I ordered a Lisa's Crown and Hammer chicken sandwich, which came with french fries fries according to the menu, and my dear friend, ordered the Reuben, with french fries We passed on drinks as water was supplied, and neither of us felt like drinking. The food arrived in decent time. My friend only ate half of a Reuben, and some of the french fries. She said th sandwich was OK. My Lisa's crown and hammer sandwich was pretty decent, and I felt the french fries were well seasoned but soggy. I ate half the sandwich and took most of the french fries home. I'm kind of disappointed, as after spending time at the Christmas tree show and raffle at the Collinsville Historic Society, lunch would be so appropriate to end the lovely visit in Collinsville at Crown and Hammer I guess it's travel at your own risk here. Hit or miss. Service was OK, but it seemed like the server disappeared for long periods of time and the place really wasn't busy. I also noticed there were two or three servers taking care of guest in the small place The pub was hopping, I'm not sure if it was locals or visitors to Collinsville, but it looks like everyone was having a good time in there. Prices were on point, as I think the Bill was around $40 with tip. The menu does have sandwiches and sides along with the high-end dishes. Personally, I would lose the high-end dishes. I will come back again, maybe not soon. Collinsville is an awesome place to visit. So quaint, so inviting, so much to do. It's just too bad that Crown and Hammer missed the mark

Our server took our entrée order of the Chatham Bay fish fry and short ribs of beef bourguignon. The fish and chips was very very good on the fish. Two large pieces of cod that were perfectly deep-fried in a thin but crunchy coating that was excellent. The shoestring fries were a little less impressive in the sense that they looked a bit industrial without a lot of character, but were passable. This dish would've been an 8 out of 10 if the fries had a greater degree of character. This was accompanied by a remoulade, malt vinegar. The short ribs of beef were exceptionally good and would have made Julia Child proud. Short ribs of beef slow cooked in red wine, onion, bacon, and mushrooms, accompanied by mashed potatoes, root veggies. For the two of us, $99. $120 with the tip. The service was prompt, polite, and professional. This was worth a second try.

The restaurant is nautical themed and it's not a fancy place but definitely a homey place. The service was great with ordering and picking up takeout. The prices were a little higher for the dinner options; I understand the situation, due to inflation and fresh seafood is usually more pricey. For starters, I had to try out their thick and creamy New England clam chowder; it was not the best I've ever had but it was a 3.5/5. My main meal was the crab cake sandwich and fries; it came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and spicy delta tarter sauce. The crab cake was deep fried and perfectly crunchy.
