Shocked and disappointed. I followed Andrea West on social media and she posted a cute reel…read morefeaturing a handful of kitchen decor. I purchased everything she linked in the reel. A cutting board, a crock, and a cheese board for $125+! All three items arrived broken or damaged (see pics). I emailed Andrea West Design on Jul 1, Jul 5, and Jul 7 requesting a return and refund of the defective items. I never heard back. On Jul 12, I called Andrea West Design at the ph# listed on their website. It is a cell phone that goes straight to voicemail. Tried it a few times, voicemail all the time. Never got ahold of anyone. I finally filed a chargeback on my credit card since Andrea West Design wasn't responding to me after my purchase. Nearly a month goes by, and I finally get an email from Andrea's husband, Aaron West, stating they had "staff turnover" in July and my emails "didn't get forwarded." He lied and said they had already refunded me. They hadn't, but I did have a temporary credit from my Visa company while they investigated the chargeback. A few days after receiving Aaron West's email, I received a call back from Visa who said they spoke to Aaron West and that he said I "never contacted them" and that "If I had contacted them, he would have refunded me." Outright lies. I had the e-mail from Aaron acknowledging he had seen my previous e-mails! My Visa co asked if I wanted to send proof of my original emails during the month of July, and I said I did. So I forwarded those to the investigator working my chargeback as well as the pics attached here. I also forwarded Aaron's email proving he lied about never hearing from me. A few days later, I won my chargeback and got a permanent refund. I could not believe that not only did they completely ignore me for a month when I all I wanted to do was return the broken items, he then lied to my Visa company and said I never contacted them and he would have refunded if I had. Shocking. Luckily, I save everything so I had proof. Buyer beware. All items ended up in the garbage.

House of a Jade paid attention to details of things that we would have not otherwise realized since it is a new build. They were able to really visualize what the space would be like once finished and help us to make the most of each room.
