Slowly, as I start to buy pieces for the new house that I plan to cherish for a long time, I predict there trips to Weekend Trader will become more frequent, even if it's only to dream...

On the ground level is the Citta Design shop and then if you go upstairs you'll find the Collected. What a find it is! I wanted so much in the shop. And the really good part is there was some really nice stuff for around $20 or less such as dinner plates, various knick knacks, candles and other stuff made of awesome. There was so much I wanted to purchase. So once I have a bit more cash in the bank, I will definitely be back (come on pay day)!

Tesori has beautiful accent pieces from chandeliers to vases as well as mirrors and art work. There is a large range of kitchen staples such as glass storage jars and an outdoor area which has vintage looking lanterns and other interesting pieces. There is always something new in store so best to check in often as there are small quantities or often one off pieces that may be gone if you don't snap them up straight away.

This store has a cool as range of designer things for your home, office and garden. They have nice furniture and on this particular day there was an excellent sale price on a very nice 3 + 2 seater couch set. I loved all of the furniture, in fact I really could not take my eyes of every next thing I came to. Here is another example of what I fell in love with, ring holders, yes you bet! This designer range was stainless steel and included upturned umbrellas, animals, flowers, all fashioned to hold rings and jewellery and priced under $20, not bad. I think I will make a mental note to add The Design Store to my favourite shopping spots because the purchases I'll make here would be unique and would turn an eye. Check them out for yourself.

It has a warehouse feel just packed with amazing furniture. If you are a busy person, this store has a lot of their products on trademe, their prices are really great and they don't charge ridiculous prices to post them. They have heaps of iconic inspired designs like those totally awesome chrome stools but they don't cost as much as the originals. They also stock the infamous tin cow statues which you either absolutely love or absolutely hate. I couldn't afford any of the big items like couches etc not to mention I have no need as I don't own a house but I did purchase this beautiful cushion that I absolutely love!

There's beautiful, beautiful homewares, WORLD Beauty, fashion labels and even a cafe. I would even go as far as to say that BLOC has made me excited about christmas present shopping. The wide variety of things for the home, for the inner self and for the fur baby ensures that The Bloc will solve the gift problem.

They have some draws and cabinets that I would say are comparable to what Red Current stock but at almost half the price. Everything in Harrowset is gorgeous and the quality is undeniable. This fine quality does mean that most of what Harrowset Hall stocks is quite pricey, but boy is it worth it! Your house would be the envy of all your friends and just by purchasing items from this store you feel better. I know when I bought a classic lace and embroidered nightgown from Harrowset I felt like a million dollars - I felt like a 'real lady'. Harrowset Hall is just that kind of place - it makes you feel like you've found hidden treasure. Exploring their signature store on Nuffield Street is a great way to lift your mood and motivate you to redecorate your home! Tip: Handmade soaps both from within New Zealand and imported from Florence are also available in Harrowset and they smell AMAZING.
