Coach Beth and the other coaches are all phenomenal with the kids. She has this rare ability to blend discipline and fun seamlessly. The kids aren't just learning techniques. They're building confidence, resilience, leadership, and a strong mindset. You can see the growth both on and off the mats. You'll see the growth in your kids fairly quickly at home as well. My daughter competes, and this is truly a top-tier competition team. The training is high level, structured, and intentional. Not to mention, the culture is incredibly supportive. The teammates push each other while genuinely cheering one another on. I started training myself in January, and the adult program is just as strong. The Gi classes with Coach Casey, Coach Phil, Coach Beth, as well as NoGi with Coach Todd are all technical, detailed, and challenging in all the right ways. Each coach brings a different strength and perspective, which makes the learning experience well-rounded, challenging, and constantly evolving. Whether you're brand new or looking to sharpen your competition game, the level of instruction is the outstanding. If you're considering jiu jitsu, for your child or for yourself, give Logos a try. The coaching, the culture, and the community are unmatched.

He has training twice a week and has shown improvements in his attitude and has learned about the tenants: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. He loves board breaking and nunchuck training days and has made many friends in this program. I didn't give Elite 5 stars since I cannot speak to the more serious training areas of the program such as sparring and competitions. I do know my son enjoys the training he is participating in and gets excited to test for his stripes and hopefully one day a higher belt. He does not participate in the after school program or camps on no-school days, but it is good to know it is available, if needed.

He takes the time to show you the exercise from multiple angles, floats around the class offering helpful advice. My favorite part is if you ask him WHY the move is done in such and such of a way, he not only shows you why but he has the knowledge to explain why you should do it that way. His monthly seminars are fantastic (which include line-of-fire, 3rd party protection, knife fighting, stick fighting, ground survival and lots more). Not only does Tom teach Krav, but he also teaches Muay Thai, cardio kickboxing, ground survival and a Little Dragons class. As someone who has studied Karate for over 20 years, along with various other martial arts, I can…read moresay its a real pleasure to find this school. It is a gem in the rough - classes taught by an instructor who truly loves to teach, and is actually a good teacher (rather than only just a great martial artist). This school teaches Koryu Uchinadi which is old style Okinawan Karate. This is a functional style first, and includes martial arts training that covers self defense from empty hand standing, ground work (grappling) to traditional Okinawan weapons (like the staff). The instructor is a prior successful National competitor who has been training longer than I have - and successfully ran a commercial school back east for over 6 years (one of the head instructors). He moved out to Colorado for graduate work, and stayed. The cost of the class is the same price I paid for classes when I started studying Isshinryu Karate in 1985 on a military base in Virginia. The cost simply covers the very low cost of the space, and gas for the instructor - who really just teaches because he loves to teach and train. I have trained in Virginia, at University of Maryland, in upstate NY, Japan (Yokohama) and Denver before finding this school in Boulder. By far, this instructor has been the best teacher I have studied under. Other instructors have possibly had more knowledge, but often did not actually teach the classes, and you were taught by other senior students. If you have any interest in Martial Arts and your in Boulder or Denver, you owe it to yourself to check out this school first. I don't think you will be disappointed. Classes are Monday, Wednesday (6-7pm) and Saturday (9-10am)

He uses ppl he promotes with free classes so he doesn't have to teach, and the kid instructors teach kicks that will break a kid's foot and most of these parents do not realize it. He is overpriced. I currently have my 3-year-old in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for less than Walker charges, and she is also taking 1-hour classes in Karate at Warriors for half the price from an Olympic instructor. Bushido Aurora is a cash grab, it specializes in kids because adults can see this isn't correct. They are worse than big corporate gyms with how they handle someone trying to cancel. Minus 1 star for lack of class availability. 10am and 7pm being the only times for a newcomer to make a class is tough. Minus 1 star for muay thai training.
