They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

After having the typical office visits and finding out how much my high deductible insurance was going to cost monthly with them and their unwillingness to work with other payment plans, I looked into other birthing methods. I won't lie, the price was the leading factor. However, once I found out there is a birthing center near me I KNEW I had to check it out and I'm so very glad I did. My boyfriend wasn't as keen on the idea but was open to meeting them because he knew how excited I was over it. We met with one of the midwives and she more than answered my long list of questions. She reassured him as well so that he became excited at this experience also. I haven't given birth here yet but I'm down to bi-weekly appointments now with baby due mid-July. I've meet all of the midwives at DeLand except for Kaleen but have an appointment set up with her for later in the month. Everyone has been great so far; it's so opposite from the typical hospital visit and I love that. The atmosphere is so much better than being at a hospital. My greatest worry? That I DON'T end up giving birth here for some reason.

They were informative, kind, patient, encouraging & alwaysssss available through the process. Together we were a TEAM- we are forever grateful for the love they showed during my daughters 2 & 1/2 days of labor. Inside is very clean and well put together. The location is next to the hospital, pretty much within the hospital area. Parking is easy to find, and the suite number is 218, also easy to find inside the building. The restrooms were very clean and the rooms had a nice smell. Ginnie who I believe to be the manager st this location( forgive me if I'm spelling that wrong) was so pleasant over the phone, her conversation and explanations of everything is what brought me into their office. I was having issues being able to get into an office in a great timely manner and she was able to fit me in at the perfect time. I met her face to face when I went into my appointment today. She was so kind and happy to finally meet me. She was nothing but helpful throughout this entire process. Kim the receptionist was very nice and made my paperwork process easy. I next was approached by the nurse who assisted Dr. Reed in the procedure i had done today. DR. REED is great! I cold rave about him all day. He is probably one of the best doctors I've visited in my lifetime of being able to remember doctors. He answers questions very thoroughly, he's very easy to talk to, and does not make you feel any type away for not knowing the answer to some of the concerns that you may have. He makes funny jokes and makes you feel very comfortable! I felt extremely comfortable and very blessed to be able to have him be the doctor I now will continue seeing at this OBGYN. The two of them were so pleasant, kind and talkative with me, I felt right at home even though this was my first time. The woman who checked me out at the end of my app, who is bilingual with Spanish, she was awesome and very sweet as well! The process at this doctors office was extremely easy, non-stressful, and turned out to be such a wonderful visit. I recommend this doctors office for anyone looking for a new OBGYN, or if you were referred here do not worry, you're in great hands!

Drove 30 minutes one way to get the second part of a 3 part vaccine series. After taking my vitals…read moreand a urine test the nurse said my blood pressure is elevated, and I told her it was elevated the last time I was there 2 months ago, and they still gave me the first part of the vaccine series. She then started giving me a bunch of excuses and saying I need to make an appointment with my PCP on my blood pressure before they can give me the second dose of the vaccine. I let the nurse know that I had my annual physical with my PCP back in March of this year, and my blood pressure was not a problem with my doctor. I told her I also check my blood pressure when I am at home and it is normal. The nurse still said that I could have hypertension and she cannot give me the vaccine unless I make an appointment my PCP first. I find it interesting and ridiculous on how anal this nurse is at this office, and she (not a doctor) can diagnose an individual based off 2 vital readings, when my regular doctor doesn't have a problem with my blood pressure. After she refused to give me the second dose of the vaccine I walked out of that office mad as hell, and went to a CVS pharmacy the next day and I received the second vaccine without any problems. I will not be going back to this GYN office at Suite 318 again for anything else in the future. The nurses are way too anal and I am not going to jump through their hoops just to get a simple vaccine when I can go to any local pharmacy and get it with no issues. They already wasted my time (over 90 minutes total) with an appointment that I didn't receive what I came there for. I just got excuses from the nurse. They better not charge my insurance for that visit either, when they only took vitals. I will not be going back to that office again for any reason. I do not recommend this practice location in Altamonte Springs for any OB/GYN services to anyone. AdventHealth has other locations with much more competent staff.

In my initial review I gave them the benefit of the doubt becuase the doctor herself was truly excellent. But her staff is so unprofessional that I won't be returning as a patient. They truly ruin what otherwise may have been a good experience. In the month since becoming a patient at this practice I have needed to once them exactly 4 times. Once to make an appointment. This took 7 calls & voicemails & my doing an online appointment request (which they subsequently lost). Not once did I recieve a call back. The second time was when I was running late to my appointment after a truck blocked a one way road. Called twice. No answer. The third was when I needed to change my BC. That took four phone calls and I was told I had to call them to remind them to do it (I'm sorry I have to remind you to do a basic function of your job? In 2026?). This brings us to this most recent attempt to contact them - when I called back 3 weeks later to remind them about my medication change. I called 8 times. Left voicemails. Not a single call back. On the morning I was set to start my new round of medication it still had not been called in. So I tried emailing them at the only email address I have for them-the front desk. So I get in my car to drive to their office & ask them to person and they finally call(thanks email). And they had the audacity to try to ignore the whole situation. No apologies. No accountability. When I got what I feel was understandably angry (at this point I have l called them close to 20 times and which feel like I am having to harass them to do basic functions of their job) so I asked to speak to her manager. She puts me on hold and then comes back to say she's not available and hangs up on me. The kicker, she did not confirm my pharmacy so I had to still go in person to get my medication sent in. Now I'm furious, but I know I can't be furious in person. It will not help me or anyone else there in their waiting room. So when I arrive, I very calmly, quietly, (so as to not upset the pregnant women in the waiting room because this isn't their fault or problem) ask to speak to the office manager. I also give them the pharmacy so that it can be called in. I wait around for 20th min only to be told she is in a meeting and then is going to lunch. She could not daine to give me 5 min of her time. They then add insult to injury and say "she will call you" why if you can't be bothered to call me about making an appointment, or my calling in my medication would I believe that someone would call for me to air a complaint? Truly? To my actual shock, they did call. The office manager whose name is Paige, called at the end of the day (she waited until the end of business). I went through the reasons for my outrage. I preface my start by asking her to not interrupt me until I had gotten through it all & I asked for her to put herself in my shoes. If she did, I asked how she would feel had she been treated with such disregard as her staff has now routinely shown me. She made no attempt to empathize or take any accountability. The "apology" she offered was "I'm sorry you feel that way" which basic psychologically & customer service 101 tells us is not an apology but a deflection tactic. (That's not my opinion that is fact-you can literally google this & I did. See my screenshot) When I pointed this out she just repeated herself. She also tried to suggest what I was somehow calling from a different number and that's why they weren't calling me back...? What? Like what a truly bizarre attempt to cover your mess up (& before you ask no-I have one phone) Zero accountability. Zero integrity. She made an already unprofessional & egregious situation so much worse. I wasn't even after an apology. I wanted to know why they can't be bothered to call people back or call in medication & how they wood be fixing that issue for their patients going forward because this is not reasonable. But nope... The worst part is I will have to do this song and dance AGAIN in 3 weeks when I have to change my medication again per my insurance. I am considering contacting the state medical board about it. While it is a staffing issue rather than a medical issue they should be aware of the egregious situations allowed to go on at this office. Just imagine if I was a hormonal pregnant woman or someone actually dealing with a distress in my pregnancy and I couldn't get my doctors staff to call me back without harassing them with repeated calls & voicemails or I physically show up in their office, they then try to gaslight me into thinking I am the problem. Completely unacceptable & unprofessional. Stay away. STAY SO SO FAR AWAY. I have never experienced such poor customer service and disrespect from a medical staff across the board in my life. I am completely outraged and shocked.

She is constantly booked, so if you are looking for an appointment with her specifically, call WAY in advance. She takes a lot of time with each patient, making sure they have all of their questions answered(sometimes I come in with a whole list!) She was the doctor who recommended CRM and Dr. Loy to us for IVF. A year later, we are 10 weeks pregnant! The office: They have several offices, but the one I am reviewing is the Winter Park location. It has ample parking and an elevator to the 2nd floor where the physicians offices are located. They have 4-5 people working reception so you never have to wait long. Their waiting room is large and spacious- they have a water machine with cups available as well as magazines. Scheduling: This is the only reason I can't give this 5 stars. Dr availability is NOT the issue either, I expect good doctors to be booked :) The issue is if you are having an ultrasound or another lab the front desk can't book you-- you have to wait for a call from a scheduler. I am a very organized person and always bring my planner with me to appointments(yes, I'm old school but I LOVE my Erin Condren planner!), so I'd like to take care of scheduling same day. Other than that this office is fantastic! I definitely recommend!

Dr. DeFreese is always prompt yet he spends as much time with each patient as they need. He makes you feel as though you are his only patient. His office staff is warm and welcoming. Can't say enough wonderful things about this practice.
