So the guys in here kept calling me "Sir", which I understand was only born from their politeness…read morebut still never makes me feel comfortable. I have no problem with Mr Mxxxx because that's my name, but Sir is for other people, people who have achieved things or have standing in the community. Or for average people in hotel bars demanding to feel important. I'm half drunk at 6.30pm and ordering a doner kebab because I can't be bothered to turn the oven on at home. I'm pretty scruffy too. I'm not a Sir. Anyway, they have an amusing double act in this place where the older guy barks instructions at his assistant while Sir-ing me to death. They do pizzas and stuff but I had a doner kebab and chips. Large amount of meat in this one in quite small bits and very moist, but they wack the salad on then leave you to do your own sauces, which Sir found quite the inconvenience let me tell you. The salad is fresh but carrot - NO! Fortunately, the counter-top excavation required to inject my chilli sauce at the required meat-fold-depth also allowed me to reallocate the ginger terror to more suitable areas (bin/floor/punishing vacuum of space). Slightly crispier chips than I usually like but also the oiliest meat I've had in Leeds, so those penalties off-set. It's a four star kebab, but only just, and not any better than Alia's which is ten feet closer to my flat.

They always happily give me extra (sauce, naan, etc) and are always very polite (which means a lot to a hungry girl heading out on a study break at 2am dodging the drunks from the nearby bars). The mixed kebab on naan is great and the chicken korma was a sweet creamy delight. They even go out of their way to make stuff on their menu that I'm sure they haven't made in ages, and I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes (which is saying a lot because I've come in with some pretty big orders before). It's definitely one of my favorite to-gos in Leeds.

Just standard. We received a smallish portion which lacked authenticity but had nice enough flavours that it went down alright.
