I had my floors cleaned and unfortunately my large grandfather clock was moved and tilted which damaged the alignment of the pendulum mechanism which Mr. Day quickly diagnosed and fixed. The clock is once more working as before and I am very pleased with Mr. Day's house call. Mr. Day does house calls only by prior appointment and states the cost up front. If you have a large clock that needs repair you might want to have Mr. Day look at it. I am glad he did for me and would highly recommend his services.

They replaced the mainspring in the pocket watch and crystal in the wristwatch, and returned both freshly cleaned, polished, wound and running great. He was very good at sorting out mistakes of items another store (PPM) identified as sterling or not silver at all. I was very impressed to watch Robert work with coins and medallions like an experienced fruit sorter pulling and grading fruit from the conveyer. Needless to say, I received an offer about 2 times as high as one of their competitors (PPM) and took it. All I can say is never judge a shop by its initial look.
