Premaman

It's not often that I find myself inside a babywear shop, and it's also not that often that I…read moreexperience the amazing customer service I received today in Premaman. The British shop assistant who served me was lovely, warm, helpful and everything you could hope a shop assistant would be. She was genuinely interested in why I would be in a baby shop (I don't really have the word 'mother' plastered across my forehead) and in who I was shopping for. She gave me space to rustle around in the selection of babywear and then advised me on which of my choices would be most suitable. I found her to be extremely helpful, considering that shopping for baby clothes isn't one of my strong points. The baby clothes in Premaman are gorgeous! I know a lot of women get clucky just looking at them, so if you're susceptible, avoid. Premaman is a Belgian company and as such has a very chic range of clothing and accessories suitable for newborns to 10 year olds. They also do prams and strollers and other such necessities. This is a great store to find a precious outfit for your newborn niece, nephew, grandchild or other deserving youngster. Prices are around 10 euro for a shirt, 12 for a jumpsuit and 7 for a hat (this is in the newborn - 12 months section), so it won't cost you an arm and a leg either. A very pleasant shopping experience.
Paolo Rossi
Paolo Rossi Shoes and Accessories is a quality shoe and clothing boutique in Malahide…read more Shoes are its specialty, and there are countless pairs ranging in price from about 70 - 100 euro (on average), although they had some shoes on sale for around 50 euro. The clothes in this store would suit smart-looking 30-60 year olds, although there are some pieces that would also appeal to a younger demographic. I fell in love with a coral 3/4 length jacket in the display. Wasn't so in love with the price though... The shop tends to attract a lot of mums with prams, so be ready to dodge small children while browsing. Paolo Rossi has a really classy interior too, with some great wallpaper and lovely heavy changeroom curtains.

She's really not nice lady. The stuff in the shop is so expensive and everything that is so used really really the shop is not welcome anymore at all for the families.
Oxfam's Malahide branch has a good range of the products you'd usually find at a charity store…read more In addition they have quite a sizeable selection of household items, like cup and saucer sets and other crockery. I was impressed to find some antique jewellery there, which, by the way, wasn't going at charity shop prices! The clothing section is fairly limited, and I was surprised at the sizeable proportion of very dressy clothes in the collection. Their offerings are particularly good, and I must say I was tempted by a few of the titles.
