I had an exceptional experience at Mirra Spa! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind, gracious, and attentive--really going out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. While the sauna wasn't quite my thing, everything else more than made up for it. My Brazilian wax by Amanda was handled with care and professionalism, and I truly appreciated the provider's gentle, reassuring manner. The highlight, though, was the 90-minute massage by Joana--it was absolutely amazing. Joana was incredibly skilled and attentive, and I left feeling completely relaxed and renewed. Mirra Spa is definitely a place I recommend for travelers. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch service and a peaceful, rejuvenating experience! read more

Called for an appt. because my ankle has been killing me from walking an average of 20k each day. The place is very clean and lovely. My massage was fabulous. I may be back before we leave Porto! I highly recommend! read more

This place is fantastic! Jackie gave me an awesome massage while Deanna gave my mom such an amazing facial that my mom insisted I come back for a facial myself, which they were able to accommodate the following afternoon. I also got the podology treatment from (I'm so sorry, I forgot her name) the lovely blonde curly haired lady, who was so sweet & literally gave me baby feet again! I had rough & calloused feet before our trip, but long trekking through airports & tours only made them worse. She made me feel like a new woman, how smooth & pretty she made my feet, taking off all of the dead skin, painlessly. Jackie also brought my mom & I gourmet tea while I had my foot treatment, even though my service with her was already completed. They truly want you to have a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They don't just finish your service & pass you on, like some other spas/salons. I returned today for my facial with Deanna & my mom wasn't kidding, she did an amazing job! She also gave me skincare/product advice specific to me & spent the time to explain what areas she designated on my face & how I should treat them. She recommended products that I could find in the pharmacy down the street, so she wasn't doing it to "upsell" me on anything. If I weren't already considering moving to Porto, this spa & their incredible, caring staff put the cherry on top!! They get booked (unsurprising, because they're so awesome) a few days out...so plan your visit & call to make an appointment at least a few days in advance. read more

Wowowow. First night in Porto did not disappoint. And after some pretty rough traveling, I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this spot. I love back and neck massages. Like REALLY love them. And I'm super picky about the pressure and the overall vibe. Let me tell you that Mirra Spa delivered. The pressure, the ambience, the friendly smiles, the technique - superb from start to finish. My masseuse, Sylvia, was excellent. The amount of knots she worked out of my back was easily worth double the cost. I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the mood to relax! Best decision to come here on our first night in town. read more

Terrible in the following ways:…read more - they charged me more (20 euros instead of 15 euros) even though the price on the window - she was very unsanitary (even though she says she is) as I saw her take out a "sterilized" cuticular clipper and it still had remnants of someone else's cuticles on it (gross) - she cut me at my cuticle and did not seem to care (didn't even offer for me to wash my hand) - she mocked me in front of all of the patrons at the shop and laughed at me when I wanted to get my nails done This was very offensive as a tourist that she didn't care to do a good job, was absolutely unsanitary, and unprofessional. It is a cheap place for a reason. Spend a bit extra and go up the street or to a legitimate place. It's worth the it to pass this place, believe me.

The only thing I didn't like about our room was the glass wall with mini blinds that separated the bathroom from bedroom. Sexy as the idea might have been it is a great disruption to be woken up multiple times during the night when the restroom is being used. When our flight home was cancelled last minute... the hotel staff was very accommodating and let us stay in the same room as well as assisted to reschedule our transportation to the airport the following day. I'd stay here again as the hotel was centrally located, the staff was great, the room was nice, and morning breakfast as outstanding!

One hour later I had to inquire again. Finally the manager stepped up and explained there was a maintenance issue on the connecting room and moved us to a new room instead. The associate never made eye contact with me after her "10 minute promise" on the wait time. Then, my room key was not working. I went downstairs and asked for a new key. The associate Francesca literally just handed me a key without asking for my identification. So unsafe! So I mentioned this to Beatrice right after and her explanation was "If we know the guest, we will issue the key without any identification. BUT, it told her Francesca never met me. She could have just reissued the key to any stranger not registered to the room. Beatrice took my complaint down and scribbled away. No follow up was done. I went ahead and reported this to the Marriott Customer Service and they provided me a case #. Apparently, the property was to get back to me in 24 hours. No follow up 10 days later. Apparently the case was closed without any follow up. They have re-opened the case and now they have 3 business days to get back to me. Disappointed with the customer service.
