***-WARNING-***…read more Always check how much your getting charged because the employees will try to get extra money out of you without your permission or knowledge. I once brought some food from these guys but didn't have any cash with me at the time; so I decided to pay via PayPass. One of the employees took my card of me and paid for it via PayPass. When I saw the receipt I noticed that I was charged an extra $1. I found that really shocking since there is no signs or information for the customer in any form to warn you about this charges. When I took it up with the manager I was told that it was the surcharge for paying by card. I even told the manager that normally a surcharge is between 20 - 25¢. But they didn't seems to care. I found it extremely dishonest, like if any employees told me about it then I the rating and review would be completely different from what it is right now. Word of advice to the customers: - Ask about the Surcharges to the employees to avoid any unexpected charges - Always pay with cash - When paying by card, do not hand over your card. - Always check how much your being charged Advice to the employees: - DO NOT ever take the card of the customers nor should you ask to do so. - Inform the customers of the surcharge when they choose to pay by card. I would've love to go back here again and be their frequent customer but after finding out the distrusting, dishonourable and dishonest nature of the employee's here, I don't believe I would and I strongly believe people should take extra caution when shopping here.

The restaurant itself is unassuming, located in a line of shops just behind the medical centre off fordholm road. This place was actually recommended by my dad who received a sceptical retort from me when I told him I was hankering for a really flavourful pho- sorry dad. Arriving on a Sunday evening for dinner, the place was fairly quiet. I place my order of beef pho and dim sims for takeaway. Not even ten minutes later my food was handed over, hot and fresh and ready for me to inhale at home. The beef stock was delicious. Dark, rich and plentiful- exactly what I expect. Served with the usual suspects- rice noodles, beanshoots, lime, fresh chilli, mint and of course, thin sliced of beef (served raw but given I had to drive 10 minutes home was actually cooked sitting atop the rice noodles). Everything about the meal was exactly what I had been craving. The red chillies were insanely hot (or Edinburgh has weakened me) so my tip would be not to big down a whole slice. The dim sims were so delicious. Hot, crispy and clearly homemade, they were flavoured really well and so moreish. I will definitely be going back whilst I'm on my trip and highly recommend this place for anyone who's also over having to drive towards the city for a good pho.
