Attended a event on Sunday the 25th of July, I caught covid. I called the establishment and the management team didn't care much.

Working with M4U has always been like working with family so when it came to planning our wedding,…read morethere was no question about which entertainment team we would choose. For years, we knew we wanted DJ Vandan and MC Neil to be at our wedding. Neil MC'd my sweet 16 and since that day, I knew there was no better choice for my wedding. Throughout the entire planning process and the day of, they gave us exactly what we wanted. There was no back and forth or push back from the team about our ideas at all. We had so much trust that we pretty much handed them the keys to do whatever they wanted in terms of entertainment/lighting and we were NOT disappointed. Our guests continue to rave about the MC and DJ combo, especially about DJ Vandan's song choices, playing a mix of Bollywood, hip hop, as well as classics to make sure all of our friends and family were on the dance floor and having a good time. Neil kept the crowd LIT the ENTIRE NIGHT until the absolute last song. Even though there were issues with our venue, the team figured things out without us even knowing that there were any issues. M4U had made the ballroom look incredible, whether it was the amazing vinyl wrap, the lighting throughout our reception, or the large video wall around the DJ booth, they knocked it out of the park. DJ Ronak and MC Aakash also did an awesome job with our Garba/Sangeet, there were a few last minute surprises that were thrown at them and they handled everything calmly and professionally. The lighting at the Garba/Sangeet during the surprise performances made the whole experience so much more climactic and exciting. If you are looking for the best entertainment company in the game, look no further - M4U never disappoints.

Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how incredible this team is. We met with Neil months before the wedding, and he completely understood who we were as people, our music interests and the vibes we wanted to bring to our wedding--that meant the most to us. The dance floor was popping before the Sangeet even started. They had us crowd surfing, had our friends and family raging, and had us going all night long. You have to trust me here, if you want a team that pays attention to you, your story, who you are and what you love and then can bring that to an energy level that is unmatched- this is your dream team.

The shingles on the outside are in various stages of being replaced by plywood. Some have been replaced. It does, however, have a gazebo as you enter, as if that's really adding curb appeal. I should have known when we pulled into the parking lot and it was not crowded that this was not a hotel I would typically stay at. We get inside, and the lobby isn't bad, but there's an old white guy playing the guitar and singing songs I've never heard of. I'm not really sure what the theme is. It's supposed to be a Japanese hotel, but they're going to have Bollywood one night, and then there's a white man singing folk songs. Okay. We get in the elevator, and it's very narrow and dirty inside. We get to the first room, and it has double beds, which is not what he ordered or reserved. So, back downstairs we go. After a few minutes, he was able to get another room. This room isn't as bad, but we walk in, and right in the bedroom area, there are pills on the floor. Gosh, what were they cleaning? I've never been to a hotel that doesn't have paper cups for the coffee. The coffee cup they did have was dirty, so we went down to the bar and got glasses. We figured they clean those routinely when they're making drinks. So now we're in the room stocking up on Lysol and wiping things down with Pledge and Fabuloso, basically cleaning the entire room ourselves, which defeats the purpose of staying in a hotel, right? It's supposed to already be clean! Then there's the door. When all the lights are off and you look toward the hallway, you can literally see light coming through the spacing around the door. I didn't believe it at first, but absolutely any kind of critter could come in. The bed is one of the cheapest beds you could ever sleep on. The minute one person moves, the whole bed moves. We wound up having to buy new sheets because we refused to lie on the ones that were there. That says A LOT. And then nighttime comes. Apparently, the walls are made of paper because you can hear EVERYTHING. You can hear every conversation and every bit of activity happening in the hallway as if the people are standing right there in the room with you. And whoever is staying above us? Same thing. Every footstep, every movement. It literally feels like these people are in the room with us. So, between the hallway, the room upstairs, and the bed moving every time somebody breathes, apparently sleep is just not part of the APA Woodbridge experience. The lampshades are discolored. The carpet looks gross. I'm walking around with shoes on at all times. Even in the shower, I am wearing my shower shoes. I really don't want to touch anything. I'm trying to be in good spirits and be a good sport, but this is absolutely one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I told my friend, "I am a Hilton-chain, Marriott-chain girl. Do NOT ever do this again, or you'll be staying by yourself." No wonder they have a no refund policy they know that the minute you check in you're going to check out.

Included in your ticket is roughly 4 hours of good vibes, dancing, socializing, and lots of great food! There was lumpia, pancit, barbecue chicken and bistec. Everything was so delicious!! There is also pizza for the children. It's a family friendly affair! :) When it was time to start some line dances, the instructors were so funny and kind. They were also very encouraging and easily explained the steps. My favorite saying of the night was "there is no missteps, just an accidental solo." And that kind of welcoming and sweet energy is what I loved so much about this studio! The owner, Tiffany Joy was an amazing host and her enthusiasm was infectious. I loved when the lights would turn down and we'd have mini dance parties in between line dances. It was such a fun time! There was also a cute photobooth experience, complete with props to capture the moment! You're able to text the photos to your phone; it was so easy to use. My only wish is that it wasn't so far from where I live - our group made the trek from Brooklyn! But honestly, it was so worth the trip and I can't wait to go back!

Tiffany first came to do a demo at his school and my son asked me to sign him up for the after school program. He has been happy each time we pick him up, and the school sends us videos of him dancing along with Tiffany and his classmates. Earlier this week I was able to take a regular Zumba class led by Tiffany at her studio and it was incredible. Tiffany is warm and energetic, truly a burst of feel good energy. Her studio is clean and calming, with a club/concert vibe in the main Zumba room. Today, I attended by son's last day of Zumba and though the classes are very different, Tiffany shows up genuine, warm and encouraging in both! She finds ways to engage both her adult and children dancers and she does so flawlessly. It was so much fun talking to my son about our Zumba classes, it opened up conversation about Zumba that wasn't there when it was just him taking the classes. One of Tiffany's missions is to connect families and communities and I think she does a great job of executing this task.

It's probably the largest hotel in the area and was hosting a film industry convention while I was there. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and my rating improved slightly this time, especially given they gave me a courtesy upgrade owing to a shortage of King bed rooms which I reserved, but there are several issues that keep the rating nearly the same. 1. Reservations are still executed centrally via Marriott and the wait time could be a moment, but was easier to navigate through the prompts this time. Staff are friendly and efficient at the front desk when one checks in and out. 2. The hotel lacks amenities of a hotel this size. It does have a pool, but has no shop evident where one could buy a charger, toothbrush or aspirin if one forgot to bring the like. 3. The upgraded King Suite had no microwave or refrigerator. The dark and smooth tile on the bathroom floor can become dangerously slippery if the shower leaks water running across that floor and the towel laid down on the floor does not catch all the runoff. You may not see the water runoff on the dark tile and could lose your footing. Be careful. The toilet paper could benefit from better placement, making it less awkward to reach. You will hunt around for light switches on the walls and next to your bed the first time entering the dark room. The televisions and room a/c unit worked well, but the a/c heating unit was a bit noisy. 4. At well over two hundred dollars a night for a King room, there is no breakfast voucher for the cafe on the ground level to the right of the entrance. The cafe has a very basic menu and they serve your order as if it's to go in a bag, with boxes inside. If you specify that you are eating in your room, that would be fine. However, it's wasteful of paper and cardboard when a plate would suffice and be easier from which to eat. As a captive audience, it's the only thing immediately within reach. A few scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, twin pancakes and small coffee is nineteen bucks. Not bad, but could and would be better if competitive options were immediately available. This hotel benefits from a lack of real competition in the immediate area. The price points are a bit high for what you get and that is a consequence of a lack of real competition in the area, inflation notwithstanding. The friendly and respectful staff deserve your attention. The people who work here from the front desk to housekeeping have been great each time. 3.2 stars

The lobby is spacious, the staff is nice-ish, & the rooms are good-ish. But then you start to notice the details ... like: - The painters tape on the peeling ceiling. - The pillows with the consistency of almost-dry cement. - The dangerously large potholes in the parking lot. - The large security deposit required that didn't correlate with the quality of the hotel. & finally, the biggest offense of all: - The super pungent, overwhelming, inexplicable smell of sewage emanating from all drains in the bathroom. Most other lodging options in the area are either really expensive or really dodgy. This hotel is one of the only options that's sorta somewhere in the middle. I probably would not stay here again.
