They made you feel comfortable and answered all my questions directly without hesitation. I am 76 years old and this was my first hearing aid. After reviewing many options I decided to go with the Resound hearing aid. I was told that this works with Bluetooth (I still don't know what that means), But it enables me to control my hearing aids through my iPhone. I can watch television and have the sound come directly into my hearing aids, and not disturb others by having the sound turned up very loud. I can also adjust my hearing aids when I am in a restaurant, or just speaking to someone individually. The price of the hearing aids was a little higher than I expected, however, it was competitive with prices at other locations. It helped that I was given a discount, and that my insurance also picked up about 25% of the price. There was no charge for follow up visits, Which are needed to make adjustments to the hearing aids, which were done on the computer. The staff at the House Of Hearing are excellent. Dr. Margie, Jeff and Lisa were all extremely helpful, and very educational. I waited for a while before posting this review, as I wanted to see how the hearing aids worked out., and as I said before these are my first hearing aids. It took a little while for me to adjust to the hearing aids as they felt extremely foreign In my ears. However, after a while I began to adjust, and now i forget they are there. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I sincerely recommend House Of Hearing for anyone with a hearing loss or needing hearing aids.

Angelica suggested we go to the San Diego store to pick it up, and I agreed. However, a few minutes later, she informed me that the hearing aid was not yet available. It has now been over 10 weeks since my father's hearing test and 7 weeks since Angelica said they ordered the hearing aid, yet I have not received any update on the delivery status. Deceptive demonstrations, irksome pressure and poor results for my 2 goals ( hearing my wife when upstairs and hearing my friends to stave off dementia) had soured me on hearing aids which I knew I needed for moderately severe hearing loss. The positive reviews took me to Matt. I couldn't believe the absence of pressure --he let me use demonstrators for about 4 months ( "use 'em as long as it takes") and took impressions of my ear canals for a precise fit. He gradually acclimated my hearing to increasing correction. He cleaned my ear canals (after the medical clinic couldn't) and calls me back every 3 months and works me in if I need an adjustment. I got a CT scan here and Dr. MacEwan explained the scan to me which was cool to see. My left maxillary sinus was fully opaque and needed surgery. I had never had surgery before, and was really worried and had tons of questions. Dr. MacEwan not only did amazing with the surgery (my recovery was way faster than I expected, I felt pretty much normal after 5 days), but was also very patient with all my questions and concerns! I'm also not a huge fan of having to rely on daily meds like nasal sprays, and she was understanding and willing to work with this.
