Pastries with some gluten free and vegan

A little cafe worth stopping into if you haven't just yet. Feeling welcomed right when you walk in, and great customer service. They have a small pastry section with some gluten free and vegan options. I grabbed a matcha donut, the glaze tastes just like a matcha. I also grabbed a strawberry matcha, just enough sweetness. I also ordered chilaquiles, good flavor though I should have ordered it loaded as all I had was a bowl of chips topped with a fried egg. My cousin grabbed a Mexican cookie, a latte and a breakfast burrito. She liked it all, burrito was loaded with a side of chips. Small inside, a few seats and a small patio out front. Parking lot is small but they have parking in the back too. Service was great and fast!

TL;DR: nice, quaint little place. Food is good and prices are really good. We were just driving by this place thinking about breakfast. A lot of people sitting outside so we decided to try it. Food is good. We had Chillaquilles and an egg breakfast plate with French toast and sausage patties. Gotta say the Chillaquilles were pretty good and this time I didn't need to add any protein. Sauce was good and the runny egg on top made it so yummy. The egg plate was good with French toast but gotta say the sausage patties were a little a little small like they were from the frozen section at the market. They did have bakery items but we were too full to try anything this time. But gotta say that the food is good and it's worth trying.

This bakery is so cute. It's small, but it has inside and outside seating. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. The chilaquiles were pretty good. The portions were very good. The carne asada burrito was a little dry, but it was pretty good. The pastries were delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

When I tell you this torta hit the spot the bread is so delicious and almost sweet but not quite, and the crema along with the salsa really bring out the flavors of this beautiful sandwich. The place is a little small, but it has a nice sleepy, diner feel to it. it has everything from breakfast to lunch and the owner couldn't be kinder. An absolute gem of a human and on the side of Burbank I'm looking forward to getting more familiar with.

The place itself is super cute . We ordered the loaded chilaquiles with chorizo , red salsa, and the breakfast burrito. Unfortunately the breakfast burrito was a no. It mostly had rice and we ordered it with bacon and it hardly had any. The chilaquiles were okay. They were lacking some flavor in my opinion but I might go back to give another breakfast dish a chance. Service was good and cashier was nice.

First time here and I will say it was a pleasure and a fulfilling experience! The breakfast burrito is definitely a big size to fill me up! Most places have decent size burritos with a higher price. But, not only was it a huge burrito it was also tasty! With the avocado and pico de gallo was the "cherry" on top. The rice wasn't overwhelming just the right amount and beans enough to give that home feel beans but enjoying all the flavors! The chilaquiles as well wow the amount they serve you is a lot! You better come with a big appetite here to finish your food. The Barbacoa was actually juicy! Service very friendly and love the outdoor feel! Definitely would recommend it.

I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile now and on Saturday, the stars finally aligned and I popped in. I was very pleased with their menu options. My partner and I were looking more for a quick coffee and pastry, but I locked in their other kitchen items for next time. I got a vanilla latte, which was okay. The syrup looked like they make it in house, which is awesome! It wasn't too sweet. My partner got a cafe de olla latte and the presentation was beautiful! I can't have dairy, so I tried one of their vegan/gluten free donuts. I was so impressed- it was great! Usually gluten free things taste like cardboard, but the donut was good! My partner got the pumpkin flan and said it was great! I'm hoping we come back soon and try some breakfast burritos or another kitchen breakfast item. They even had a vegan tamale! Price point was fair, service was great, and it was super cute inside!

This place is too yummy for words. My coworker just brought me a banana muffin with chocolate chip. It was sooooo yummy. I took a quick pick of the inside of that muffin before I devoured it. I gotta say everything we have tried from that devious almond crosant to the sconces they make our morning coffee days sooo sooo good.

This place was not our original plan while driving through Burbank, but let me know it's now going to ALWAYS be the plan. We got an assortment of things and we had zero complaints from myself or my family. The owner is so down to earth, super sweet and accommodating. Made us out of towners feel like his favorite regulars! We got the chilaquiles both red and green, green with barbacoa 9/10 ONLY because I like a little heat and these are mild but flavor was delicious!! I little kick (for my preference and it would be a 10) same for the red with got them asada and my husband and I just shared because we both wanted both. lol. The egg on top cooked perfectly, the fresh avocado and the radish! Perfection! His baked goods the carrot cake muffin, the chocolate croissant the pumpkin cheesecake & his flan all delicious! The muffins perfectly moist and flavorful, the flan firm yet melts in your mouth perfection. And the croissants flaky, crunchy and moist all at once. But the star of the show, his iced Cafe De Olla latte! With his homemade syrup reduction! I had one with my meal and had to get one for the road and craving one as I sit here now. Wishing he wasn't 4 hours away. The place is inside is small, but they have tables and chairs outside to accommodate larger parties while smaller parties inside.

Came here last weekend to try their lunch menu menu for the first time. Service as usual was great. I was also grateful there was some solid vegan option (fajita vegan bowl) that was both delicious and had enough protein! Donut and cafe de olla are on point. Highly recommend. Last note - weekends are busier so it is possible that you may have to wait for table (indoor / outdoor) for a moment depending in time.

Loyal customer here for almost 1 year- Literally the best place ever. I go here at least once a week and tell my family/friends & social media about it all the time. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, you truly feel like you are having breakfast at the coziest place. The food is phenomenal, I've tried almost everything. (Breakfast burritos, breakfast plate, pastries) The coffee for me is the star of the show. I literally go to bed dreaming about my iced latte in the morning. 100/10! I wish I would've found this place sooner than the last day I was in Ca. Loved loved loved this quaint little place. Very friendly. Very authentic. Very tasty! My daughter and I ordered lattes with breakfast burritos. She with sausage and I with bacon. If anyone knows me they know that when it comes to cooking. I like to have a balance of flavors and food. This was just that!! My daughters dad order the scrambles eggs with refried beans and yellow rice. He loved it. He also got a cafe de olla which was also delicious and he got a refill! This is going to be our go to every time!!

We have been searching for a bakery in Burbank that made GF+Dairy Free+Soy Free goodies. Miracle bakery made it happen! I ordered a day ahead and picked up the following morning. We got a dozen glazed donuts, half with sprinkles. When my 3 year old saw them her face lit up! I can have a donut?!! She was in preschool prior to staying home and is very aware of her dietary restrictions, especially during social events like birthdays or holidays where food is front and center. We were able to have a special treat at home thanks to Martin and his lovely wife and the staff at Miracle. Mil gracias Martin! read more

Our wedding cake was perfect! I would give Miracle Bakery twice as many stars if I could I know it sounds so cliche but it is true. I am so grateful I stumbled upon this amazing place while looking for a baker for our wedding cake. It was love at first taste test. The cakes are so moist and flavorful, even days later you can still enjoy them. We had an amazing chocolate cake with white icing decorated with fresh flowers I brought them. The couple that runs the place is so kind and attentive, the love for cooking comes through in every bite. Amazing cakes aren't the only items on the menu, the breakfast burritos are pretty awesome too! read more

If you've lived in LA as long as I have, fifteen years, you know a gem when you find one. Miracle Bakery is an absolute gem. This is not the same old donut shop you see on every corner, in fact it's a full on restaurant. This particularly day I was in the market for some pastries only and my oh my did Miracle deliver. We had a almond croissant, a blueberry donut and a cinnamon donut. Let me put it to you like this: everything tasted, AND looked, like they knew they had a food critic coming in or something. In a word, I would describe Miracle Bakery as gourmet. The almond croissant was so good I drove back later for another! read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2019 #86 Umm how have I never heard of this place before?? So close to where I live and my favorite Sun Moon Chinese food. A tiny breakfast/brunch/lunch place where the people are so kind and the food is so good. I got the breakfast quesadilla with bacon (I do wish there was more bacon in it lol) and the huevos rancheros. Both items were very good. My one comment to this place is to get rid of the plastic utensils. Of course I understand take out orders, but most people I saw decided to eat there. THE BEST LITTLE BAKERY IN BURBANK! My husband and I used to live around the corner from here, and discovered it just weeks before we moved to OC, which was super unfortunate because we would have become regulars. Still, whenever we make it back to the area we always make sure to pop by. EVERYTHING on the menu is divine. Their baked goods, their breakfast options, the tacos, tortas... I mean EVERYTHING. Found Miracle Bakery on Tik Tok. Wow! So good! We ordered breakfast burritos, churro donut, pumpkin spice donut, chocolate chip cookie and coffee. Beautifully packaged. Everything was delicious! The donuts and cookie were by far some of the best I have ever had. I want to go in and check out what other pastries they have. They also have very fair pricing. Tried this place for the first time. I was impressed with the quality and taste of the cold brew coffee and the iced caramel latte. The taste of the two cake donuts we tried were different but very good. We will definitely be back for breakfast. We came back for breakfast. Oh my goodness! I just had the BEST chocolate chip cookie EVER!! Trust me when I say that I have had many, many, many chocolate chip cookies and nothing compares to the cookie I just had from Miracle Bakery!!! Absolute cookie perfection. I ordered it on DoorDash and it was delivered very quickly by a nice friendly guy. It arrived boxed in a quaint little brown box with a stamp of an owl , like a sweet yummy gift brought right to my door. It's the little things in life people that make the biggest impressions! We ate here because it was rated 5 stars. It was awful. I had the taco salad with shredded beef. It was $12.50 for lettuce, beans, rice, beef that had some red sauce cooked into it. My husband got a burrito that was almost all rice. They are stingy on their red and green sauce. It was not good. We both feel sick after eating here. read more

This opened up across the street and I was downright giddy. It's not a Starbucks, nor pretentious. It's just great. It won't break the bank and you can get the best Cuban cortadito in the valley. My boyfriend consumed his cold brew and lemon muffin before I could snap a picture. I got some Cuban coffee and a great salami and pesto on focaccia. They're fast, well priced and has all of the great coffee shop fare without the coffee shop crowd. UPDATES: STILL FIVE STARS. Cute bake shop that just opened up in the neighborhood. Nice selection of cakes and other pastries. I tried a few of their cake slices and was pleased with the variety of flavors. It must have been an off day for them today 6/3. I've been here before and always had a good experience. I ordered a breakfast burrito with no beans and add pico de gallo for an additional $1.50 at 10:20 per my receipt. I noticed others receiving their food before mine but it was just pastries so didn't think anything of it. Then I noticed a group receive their eggs and French toast and I still had not gotten my plate. At this time it had been 30 mins. I went to ask and they said it's coming out. Another 10 mins later it finally came out. Along with treats for the delay. So 40 mins later I get my food. Again maybe and off day. I asked for my money back for just the burrito as I purchased others items. I didn't stay to eat the burrito but when I got home it had beans and no pico de gallo. So in the end I still didn't get to eat the burrito. 3 stars because they did give me my money back but not the best experience since my order was wrong but everyone can always redeem themselves. read more

My husband & I were looking for a place that had Chilaquiles. I searched chilaquiles on Yelp & this place popped up. We went ahead and gave it a try & omg we loved it! Absolutely delicious! I had the gluten free vegan lavender donut... and ate it all in seconds! My latte was delicious and I'm pretty particular about my coffees! I had the papas breakfast burrito, it was huge! I could only eat half but can't wait to eat it for breakfast tomorrow! The barista was very sweet and helpful! My new favorite coffee shop! read more

If you are around the area, DO NOT miss out on the opportunity to taste some of the best Mexican-inspired food around plus their pastries and cakes are so delicious as well. I tried the Chilaquiles, as I love this dish, and it was amazingly tasty and its presentation was great. In addition, the owner, Martin and his team, are so friendly and attentive. This place was an unexpected breakfast stop and def did not disappoint. There was only a 15 minute wait during brunch hour which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered a mocha and vanilla latte and a vEggie empanada while we waited. The lattes were tasty and the perfect amount of caffeine, and the empanada was the right amount of buttery, crispy with great flavor in the vegetable inside. Such a cute hidden gem! Happened to be near the area and was looking for a place to eat breakfast that wasn't the normal places I go to and came across this spot on Yelp. I will definitely be back! Service was great. The cashier was super friendly and insightful. We ordered the loaded chilaquiles with Al pastor and the way it all comes together on the plate is a beautiful work of art. Also ordered the breakfast burrito with potato and chorizo. Then we also ordered two chais and I'm normally picky but these hit the spot. They have earned them self a new customer. read more

My friend had the default burrito with bacon, which he liked. I had the chicken in Belgian waffle, which was great, even though it was probably sitting around a while because we ordered and arrived much later. Clean, modern interior. Careful not to pull in the wrong way to the driveway. Would be happy to go there again although it's not near me. read more

Thank you baby Jesus for this cafe! Let me start by saying that I'm Mexican, like from Guanajuato MX AND my mom is an amazing cook therefore, very few Mexican restaurants impress me, but this place is sooo good! I had the "loaded chilaquiles" with mais morado (Blue corn chips) & Barbacoa & it was delicious. Chips were both crunchy and semi soft from the Salsa Verde, the barbacoa was very flavorful, they use queso fresco (v important detail) & frijoles de la olla (baked beans) My husband had the posole (served only on the weekends) which had huge chunks of lean pork in it & was served with tostadas. Also very good! We didn't get to try the pastries, but they looked amazing and I noticed that many people were coming in for that. The place itself is bright & super clean. It's small but cute with a good amount of seating if you include the outdoor area. And as if all of that wasn't enough, the service was incredible. Both the barista / waiter ( I didn't get his name ) and the owner Martin were super friendly & welcoming giving you the "hey it's you!" experience you get in Mexico. We had a great conversation with gentlemen working coffee area and I also noticed that everyone eating there were regulars (which is a great sign right?), they all knew the owner by name and spoke to him as if they were friends, which I absolutely loved. The food came out quickly, despite how well made and presented it was. I honestly wish I would've found this place sooner, but I am so thrilled to have found it now, we will be coming back for sure and I can't wait to bring my friends and family here too!! Great price and amazing burritos and pastries. A good portion size for the cost. I am a big guy and the burrito filled me up. Combine that with great coffee, i have had good coffee, but this was coffee well done. No frills or flavors for me, just pure bean water. Their drinks are on the more expensive side compared to larger corporate chains, but the taste and quality well makes up for the expense. They have a comfortable selection of bakery items, a diverse drink menu for all kinds of pallets, and signature lattes that hit the spot. This location offers a free library where customers can take a book and leave a book, reading in the shop or taking home, with an honor code of being expected to keep said book in good shape and to return it eventually. Their book vending machine is a huge hit, the interior is beautiful and relaxing and their location has a restroom. On the weekends they invite other small sellers, clothing entrepreneurs, bread makers, up-in-coming pottery shops, and more to use their store as a venue to expand their business. The Three Sisters' dedication to their community goes as far as sharing their success, which I admire! The cons of this location however, are that I firmly believe they've outgrown their space. Lines often form out of the cafe regularly and onto the street. It can take quite some time to wait when this happens. When they have sellers inside too--it becomes difficult to move it's so crowded. There's often not enough tables and chairs to go around, and it's uncomfortable to wait outside when it's sunny with zero shade or seats. While I love the shop encouraging people to stay and do their work, or relax, the limited seating capacity makes it so many customers are often left standing. I hope Three Sisters considers moving to a larger space, adapting outdoor seating to the experience, or grows their business enough to comfortably open multiple locations in the future to give their dedicated consumers and neighbors more space to enjoy their products.

This happened on my very first visit to this coffee shop so I don't think I did anything wrong? I have worked many customer service jobs so I always approach the counter with a "hi, how are you" and try to have a pleasant demeanor. I try not to let it bother me but it's hard not to notice the immediate switch from the interaction of the person in front of me. Now, I don't need people to be nice to me but I would like the same common courtesy I try to give. This happened on two other occasions and it's clear to me I just don't need to be going here. Maybe if the coffee were exceptional I could get over the service, but that isn't the case. I got an espresso tonic that was just ok. Glad people in Burbank like this shop but it's a chop for me.

Then I ordred an iced matcha because they said they take their matcha seriously, it's ceremonial grade and this is also a popular drink item on the menu. The staff at the Palm coffee bar were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They really helped us pick the right drink and snacks for us. It's next to Centanni Italian Restaurant and across from Bright Now Dental. Parking is all street parking. The coffee shop isn't too big with no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating with several yellow metal round tables, metal yellow chairs, and a yellow umbrella for shade. When you walk into The Hide Room, it's pretty cool to see half of the space is a barber shop where the owner was cutting someone's hair and the other half is a coffee joint. Their coffee is sourced from Guatemala, so the decor consists of framed pics of Guatemala images, coffee bean bags hanging, and an ornate, woven cloth attached to another wall. Isaiah, the barista behind the counter provided quality customer service by giving us coffee recommendations and he was so accommodating answering my questions about the business. I think this was the first time for me to see a business that was a coffee shop and barber shop all in one building. Isaiah told me the owner, who was there cutting someone's hair, wanted to incorporate haircuts and coffee in one building. We entered through one door for the coffee shop and if you'd like a haircut, you can continue through another door into what looked like an upscale, old school barber shop. I wasn't sure what to order, but my usual go to at branded coffee shops is a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut. I decided on a mocha with hazelnut flavoring. When I took my first sip, I really couldn't taste the coffee or the hazelnut flavoring. After taking a few more sips, I wished I had asked for it to be sweeter. I guess it takes a little while to appreciate the coffee because I had a delayed response to my coffee from The Hide Room. I actually enjoyed the coffee after drinking it for a little while. I'll need to try one of their signature coffees the next time I visit. I really liked the concept of The Hide Room with its combo coffee shop and barber shop. I no longer need haircuts since I'm bald, but I recommend you check out this hipster spot with its Guatemala coffee and quality customer service from its staff.

Finally a real scratch bakery in Burbank. Easy to get to from the Target Empire Center now with the new thru-way. The fried chicken basket is boneless strips, lightly breaded and fried. Yummy. Taco Tuesday is always delicious. Wednesday is cake-slice day and the carrot cake is out-of-this-world, also the Lemon Raspberry Cake ...white cake with layers of lemon curd and raspberry filling. Best muffins around . Great coffee and they have some tables on the sidewalk. Wear your mask please and support small businesses they make the neighborhood better! The cake itself is crumbly and coco-nutty obviously flavored with natural coconut flavor as in coconut milk. This cake is a coconut lovers delight! I recently visited Miracle Bakery and unfortunately, I have to say that I was disappointed with my experience. The rice was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the sausage portions were very small. It ended up feeling more like a rice burrito, which may be fine for some people, but it didn't meet my expectations. While I appreciate the effort put into the dish, it did not leave me feeling satisfied. If you're looking for a more substantial meal, you might want to consider going somewhere else. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this place. Who the heck said they served menudo? I came because Yelp pointed me to them in my menudo search. I go inside and and an older woman customer was taking her sweet time to make an order then change her order again as if nobody is waiting. I butt in to ask the guy behind the counter if he'll take my order while this fickle woman wastes time deciding. He says I needed to wait til he's done with the woman, so I bluntly asked him, (to cut to the chase) if he serves menudo. The guy said no. Thank you. What a waste of time. I don't plan on coming back due to his poor service. He knew he had other customers waiting to order. read more

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but the Miracle makes me change my mind. I had a meeting with my boss, so we decided to choose any restaurant near our office to have a quick breakfast. Then we chose Miracle because they have a quiet atmosphere. I was really surprised by the lovely design, and above all, I impressed by the story behind this restaurant. This is the cutest bakery I have been too! Their curtains caught my eye in an instant! I had a slice of chocolate fudge cake and a Ice hibiscus tea. It was delicious but my all time favorite are their polvorones I took home! When I'm around Burbank I always call my mom if she wants anything from Miracle Bakery and doesn't hesitate to think and asks to buy POLVORONES! Can't get enough of their breakfast burritos. They are stuffed with potatoes, cheese and bacon! Yum! These burritos are huge. More than enough for two servings. Great deal for what you pay for. You will definitely be full and satisfied. They also have delicious vegan donuts if you have a sweet tooth. The lavendar and original are the ones I've tried so far. All I have to say is that they have a great breakfast burrito and are one of the few places that do breakfast burritos with pinto beans at least near me, so I decided to check it out and ordered the eggs and bacon breakfast burrito with pinto beans, rice, and onions which tasted great.
